I dealt with Sophie and her team at the Marshalswick office and couldn’t recommend them more! There customer service is second to none, Sophie and Laura we’re always available to speak with me throughout the transaction and always put our minds at ease. It’s a notoriously stressful time selling and buying a new house but honestly couldn’t have felt in safer hands with them involved. They got me a great price on my house and was so knowledgable on every viewing they conducted, never did I think I would get over my asking price but the team made it possible and I’m so beyond grateful. Thank you so much again for your outstanding service, couldn’t recommend the marshalswick team more!!

The minute we got in touch with the Hatfield office and arranged for the viewings for two properties that we like, Imogen Howell came to meet us at the first property and then to the next. She was very professional but also made us feel really comfortable and she always happy to answer all our questions. Very happy to have worked with her as she has really made us not to go elsewhere and through her professionalism, we have then decided to work with her and we have made our offer which has also been accepted by the seller. Viewing the property was a stress free, non-rushed experience, where we were afforded the time to really make an informed decision. The actual process of purchasing a property showed us how amazing their customer service was. I recently bought a house in St Albans through Connells Marshalswick. The team were efficient, helpful and honest. Sophie was very fair in the discussion around one tricky issue that arose and the resulting price negotiations. The whole team were very helpful in arranging access to the property on a number of occasions. We got from offer to exchanging contracts in under 2 months. Sophie in particular was professional, responsive and friendly. Leonie made me laugh (that’s a positive thing!), with plenty of good humour and honesty. Thank you to Shaun, Leone, and especially to Danny for selling our house in what I understand to be a difficult market. We chose Connells as they seemed to have enjoyed a fair degree of success in our area. Our property was on the market within three days of Connells receiving our instructions and viewings started almost immeadiately with the house selling to an offer in excess of the asking price within three weeks. This is where Danny earns our special thanks as he was aware that we needed to sell quickly as we had already found "the house of our dreams" before our property was even on the market. He seemed to appreciate our position and worked relentlessly to ensure that we had a constant flow of realistic potential buyers through the front door. He also maintained constant contact with us by providing feedback from the viewings, and reassurance and advice when it was needed. He also shielded the viewers from our overly friendly Golden Retriever who seemed convinced that they had turned up to play with him rather than buy our house. We have now dealt twice with Connells Marshalswick branch and both times they have been excellent. 8 years ago we bought a small flat and their service was fair, courteous and efficient. Then Connells sold the same flat for us earlier this year, after we had been seriously let down by another agent. The contrast between the other agent and Connells could not have been more stark. Scott and Sophie were as professional, friendly and capable as the other agents had been unprofessional, disorganised and dishonest. Their evaluation was accurate and we sold at the high end of the quoted price range. We sold quickly, having endured a fruitless 6 months with the other agent, and the sale proved solid. All was done and dusted in just over 3 months, exactly as Scott had initially predicted. They worked well with the other professionals involved in the sale, and all was completed with the minimum hassle and the greatest good will. We are very grateful for the service that we have had and would not hesitate to recommend this branch of Connells to anyone considering buying or selling in this part of St Albans.
