GoogleSelling a house is always stressful but the Collinsons team made it as smooth as it could be. Rob talked sensibly to us about valuation and marketing and we got a buyer very quickly. Then Michele kept us informed, did a great job of coordinating with the buyer’s side and generally keep things calm and on track throughout a sometimes painful conveyancing process. It’s now all done and we’re very happy with the service from Collinsons overall.

GoogleFrom the valuation to completion the whole team have been great. Ron helped us with advice to achieve a great price for my Dads property in Butfield View and got the sale to completion very quickly considering the issues with the buildings regulations and planning permissions that we didn't have for the house. The whole team at collinson Hall were always helpful and on hand to answer questions and calls when ever needed.

Roberto visited my home recently to give a valuation and found his knowledge and experience of the local market excellent. After a recent negative experience elsewhere, it is important to find an estate agent that you know will support you through what can be a difficult selling/buying process. GoogleI cannot recommend enough Emma Ross who recently helped my partner and I secure a rental property. Emma’s communication was fantastic throughout, she promptly responded to email queries, followed up with phone calls and provided a comprehensive face to face viewing. GoogleI’ve recently rented a property through Collinson hall and I must say the process to rent was very smooth, both Emma and Elizabeth was very helpful in the process and to answer any queries that I had. Improvement wise I suggest the check-in could have been slightly better as the person handing over the keys just handed over the keys and didn’t provide any detail about the house and how the appliances are operated. And it would be very good if they can help setup the payment of the utility bills like electricity and council tax.. - Sanjay

GoogleWe started searching for a property in September 2022. Because we had bought our current property with Collinson Hall, we approached them again. I started discussing house sale and purchase with John Sullivan. From that time on, John made a point of calling me every week, either with potential houses coming on the market, or just to check how things were going. I really appreciated this regular contact. Although we spoke to many different estate agents, John was by far the best at maintaining contact and I really appreciated his efforts.

GoogleGood experience overall. Buying/Selling takes a ridiculously long time. Occasional lack of communication between staff knocked one star off, but generally very good and I would use again. All stops pulled out at the end to get over the line! Excellent.

Extremely Disappointing and Unsympathetic Management Company My experience with Collinson Hall has been extremely disappointing. After experiencing genuine financial hardship, I contacted them to explain my circumstances and asked for understanding and flexibility. Instead of showing empathy or working with me to find a reasonable solution, I felt their sole focus was on recovering the money as quickly as possible. Although a repayment plan was eventually agreed, the tone of their correspondence was intimidating and heavily focused on legal action. I received repeated warnings that my account would be passed to solicitors if I missed a payment, despite being open and honest about my financial situation. To make matters worse, an additional £480 administration fee relating to ongoing debt collection proceedings was added to my account, significantly increasing the amount I owed. Given that I had been communicating with them and trying to resolve the matter, I found this charge excessive and completely disproportionate. Rather than helping a leaseholder who was making every effort to clear the debt, I felt I was being penalised even further. I fully accept my responsibility to pay my service charges and have never tried to avoid my obligations. However, there is a clear difference between recovering a debt professionally and treating customers with fairness, respect and compassion. In my experience, Collinson Hall showed very little flexibility or understanding despite being fully aware of my financial circumstances. Overall, I found their approach to be rigid, intimidating and lacking in customer care. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend Collinson Hall to anyone who expects a property management company to deal with leaseholders in a fair, reasonable and compassionate manner.

They kept us constantly updated through emails and provided us with support all the way through to complete our successful tenancy application. The Lettings Team has been fantastic in helping us with everything we needed. Elizabeth has kept in contact with updates and guided us through the entire process from initial approach to the final steps with kindness, professionalism and a good sense of humour. GoogleI have just had amazing service from Holly Marshall-Clarke who is the property manager for a block of flats that Collinson Hall manage and in which I own a flat. Holly has only joined Collinson Hall for a short while but in that time she has been the most efficient property manager I have had the pleasure of working with. Holly replies instantly and is efficient to all and any requests made and is a breath of fresh air. I can recommend Collinson Hall and in particular Holly Marshall-Clarke.
