Winkworth Lordship Lane are exceptional estate agents - they are total experts about the local area and market. But the best thing about this branch is the team. Nicola is an absolute rocket - she's proactive, friendly, professional. What I've come to admire most about her is her tenacity. She was absolutely going to get my house sold and never gave up despite various set backs. Alex leads a strong team and, from the very low staff turnover, you can tell they love their jobs. It's good to get to know staff properly during the process. I also used Winkworth for managing my property for a year of rental - Claire Jenkins is brilliant, so efficient and reliable. Also Sami was great for the check-out and on general communication. The systems used for my tenants to log incidents was slick and Winkworth were quick to respond. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them both for sales and management.

They sent me a letter in the mail asking to sell my property but didn’t pay the full postage. I had to pay £2 so this unknown letter could be delivered just to find out they’re trying to sell to me. When I do sell my property I won’t be going here if they aren’t competent enough to add correct postage to a letter

Aaron was an amazing help

Aaron was an amazing help. As soon as I spoke with him regarding re renting my flat he put me on the right 'track' in regards to everything I needed to do or not to do. The previous tenants left the flat in a real mess and Aaron recommended certain businesses that dealt with many of my concerns ie getting rid of rubbish, where to get an EPC from etc. As soon as the flat was ready to go on the market Aaron was able to muster up fifteen applicants whilst weedling out a few that weren't quite right for my flat. He got me an immediate offer which was a little more than expected which was great. Overall I had a great experience with Winkworth, would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone that would like to rent out their property.

I cannot recommend Aaron and his team highly enough - they are first rate, professional, knowledgeable and dependable. Any issues were ironed out quickly and Aaron went above and beyond to find a solution that left tenants, landlord and buyer happy. Aaron is extremely responsive, practical and a delight to deal with. I have dealt with other local agents over the years and Aaron is head and shoulders above the rest. He knows the market inside out and I wouldn't hesitate in renting my property with his team again.

Extremely Disappointing Service

My experience with Winkworth Fulham has been deeply disappointing. Shortly after moving into a property in mid-October, I discovered that construction noise from the ground floor was unbearable, making it impossible to study or rest. This construction, as confirmed by workers, had started months earlier, yet this critical information was never disclosed to us before signing the tenancy agreement.When I raised this issue, Winkworth not only denied knowledge of the construction but also showed no intention of helping resolve the matter. At a meeting I attended, I was faced with three representatives who seemed solely focused on defending the company’s interests rather than addressing my concerns. The lack of empathy, understanding, and professionalism in handling this situation has been shocking.I cannot recommend Winkworth based on this experience. Transparency and support for tenants are basic expectations, and unfortunately, Winkworth failed on both counts.

Having met with several other agencies I felt Winkworth offered a more personal, local touch, despite being a national agency. I couldn’t have been happier with my choice. I engaged the Leigh on Sea branch to sell my late Mum’s flat, the market at the time was depressed, thanks to Liz and Kwazi, so I decided to rent it out for six months, the letting side were excellent, thanks Lucie, if anything needed doing to the flat they told me what was needed and saw that it was carried out swiftly.The eventual sale was tortuous, thanks in no small part to the freeholders solicitor and the directors operating in a parallel universe, but Winkworth settled the buyers nerves and the deal was done. This is absolutely the worst and rudest estate agent I ever encountered. We booked a viewing and there was no email confirmation. After we put the offer we have to chase the person to ask for feedbacks. The guy dealing with our inquire is called Harry Cheeseman. I would say he is an expert of ghosting rather than communicating. Eventually called the manager Alex Vent after 5 working days (in total 9days) after our offer email was sent, turns out he even has worse attitude. He told us the offer has been rejected while Harry said the offered has been sent to the landlord and they are waiting for response. Even the basic information doesn’t aligned!Alex sounds very rude on the phone, and it feels just horrible as a normal buyer who trying to put an offer. I cannot even get a confirmation?! I don’t think I deserve this kind of attitude. If anyone fancy experiencing how triggering it is of ‘ghosting’ and ‘passive aggressive’, this is your lab.
