TrustpilotExtremely poor experience with Foxtons
Extremely poor experience with Foxtons. We were left without proper cooking facilities for 25 days, which had a major impact on our daily life and forced us to spend extra money on food. A functioning cooker is a basic part of any home, yet this was not handled with the urgency it deserved.

GoogleWe bought our flat with Sackina Marlin at Foxtons Peckham and we had alot of unexpected hurdles along the way. Sackina went above and beyond to get us through all of the problems we encountered and was kind, calm and efficient at every stage. An absolute pleasure to deal with, we would highly recommend.

GoogleTerrible for tenants. I moved out of a flat managed by Foxtons a year ago and for a year have been living in a flat managed by a different letting agency. Foxtons ended my tenancy and returned my deposit, and yet for the past couple of months they’ve been harassing me by email saying I owe over 20k in rent for this past year. Absolute nonsense - I don’t even have a tenancy agreement with them. They ignored my emails saying this was incorrect, eventually saying they’d updated their records - with zero apology. I replied saying I expected one and they didn’t respond. Now they’re telling me I’m still a tenant and that they need to end the tenancy agreement, organise an inventory check out etc (in a flat I don’t live in) - even though I have it all in writing that I did this a YEAR ago. Absolutely useless - which matches up to my experience when I was actually a tenant with Foxtons. Untrustworthy, impossible to contact, lack of responses, lack of action, so slow to confirm the deposit return that I had to raise a dispute to get it back.

GoogleJust completed on our first flat all thanks to Sackina! Despite some delays on the solicitor side, Sackina kept us reassured with constant updates and support. Sackina’s bubbly nature was definitely an added bonus! Thank you so much, we will definitely recommend to anyone choosing to buy with Foxton’s in the future!

I've recently started renting from Foxtons. They are both the letting agent and the managing agent. I have never paid so much for such a bad service. None of the extractor fans work, my heating doesnt work, the curtain rods are bent and now one has fallen off & luckily no one got hurt because they have taken so long to resolve the issues. I'm wondering is this even legal?

I contacted ONE agent for a specific property viewing, and it has turned into a total nightmare. I am being hounded by at least FOUR different colleagues from this branch. The frequency is beyond unprofessional, I just received 2 calls in the span of 5 minutes.

GoogleWe bought a house and Foxtons Peckham were the selling estate agent. They were great throughout, really helpful, available to chat when we needed and went out of their way to ensure both we and the seller were happy with everything. Nick and the team in the Peckham were great, even going out of their way to help me collect keys out of office hours due to travel delays.

As a landlord (don't hate me!) paying for a managed service, they tried to charge me £90 + vat to fix a meter door with two cable ties. This is typical, and I have to chase them repeatedly for everything. My tenants and I deserve better.

I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

My personal contact was Alexander Thomas and it was thanks to him that we managed to get the sale through within a reasonable time frame. Alex is the best estate agent I ever worked with. I cannot recommend him more. A great negotiator, efficient, pro-active and also very pleasant. Thanks Alex! 10 stars from me!

GoogleMy partner and I are looking to move to a new flat as tenants. The relationship started with Amber via emails at first who then forwarded our interest to Juste. Juste showed us 5 properties in one day which exceeded our expectations, although we weren’t keen on any of them, she kept the positive attitude and tried to know more about what exactly we’re looking for. She was well informed and showed she had good relationship with the landlords. Even with the currently busy times at this time of the year, Juste is maintaining a good follow up with us and keeping us informed. We have good trust that she will find us a property to call our new home.
