GoogleRenting in Bristol is tough at the time of writing, and had been looking for at least 3 Months. I have applied to many properties and state agents with many of them not replying to my messages, moving and cancelling viewings as they wished in a very disrespectful manner. A lot of them ask to complete long forms with all your personal information and even ask for bank statements just to apply for the property. At CJ Hole the process was easy as replying an email with just a few details and the response was very quick after that. My experience by email and phone with their staff was always positive and friendly which really makes a difference when finding a place to live in.

GoogleFrom the start in listing my property CJ Hole were really professional, polite and down to earth. Advising realistic expectations and understanding what I needed and what was happening in the market. Mitch was super helpful in my listing and viewings and helped with all issues. Once sold the support were great. There were some challenges from my buyers solicitors (pays to spend good money on a decent solicitor and not go with the cheapest) but Hollie supported me and chased daily to ensure It all went through. Overall the patience and support given was outstanding. A lovely team and estate agent to use. I'd highly recommend them . The after care received from Hollie was exceptional and made me feel very supported.

GoogleI would recommend C J Hole to anyone looking to sell their property. They could not have handled the sale any better. The previous buyers pulled out and the next week they had arranged numerous viewings resulting in a new buyer, which went all the way to completion without any hiccups. I would also like to thank Chloe who was amazing. She kept me fully updated with how the sale was progressing and is a fantastic ambassador for C J Hole. They are very lucky to have her in their employ.

GoogleI had the opportunity to visit a property and being accompanied by Mr Mitchell Moss. I cannot stress more how helpful, professional and friendly he was, from before the viewing to the last goodbye. Mr Moss kept a very efficient communication with me at all time, answering my email enquiries in less than an hour, always. He was professional and cortes. The property was mistakenly taken off the market and on again but he was there, reassuring that everything was fine. On the day of the viewing, he was waiting for me, he knew my name and said it properly (what a satisfaction). He was very helpful, giving relevant information about the house, and answering my questions. I know that under this difficult situation (covid), it is not very easy to do a viewing, but he was always a step in front of me, opening every door for me, showing every cabinet and talking about extension opportunity, etc. Even after the view, he asked me to please send him any question about the property as I would have his professional email. He was polite, appropriately dressed, wearing a face mask, and I felt comfortable at all time. To sum up, even though I would not make an offer on the property for different reasons, I will not doubt to contact him again as soon as I find a property suitable to my needs.

TrustpilotCriminally Incompetent! AVOID!
If I could give zero stars, I would. AVOID AT ALL COST. CJ Hole is criminally incompetent and cost us thousands in legal fees. Their reputation precedes them! My partner and I rented a property from CJ Hole and our experience was horrific. We viewed the flat while works were still ongoing, promised that issues would be fixed. We entered the tenancy for £1250 PCM to find that the flat was still in a complete state of disrepair. CJ Hole made a pathetic effort to remedy the countless issues with the property and rebutted all of our claims. For 4-5 winter months (Nov-Mar), we were without heating, resulting in significant mould and damp. Our bed frame, mattress, and loads of priceless personal positions were completely ruined by this. The extractor hood above the cooker was poorly fitted and hit my partner on the head when it dethatched from the wall. Several other issues... CJ Hole was continually slow to reply and on occasion, outright refused to our urgent requests to have things fixed. Our property manager Marisha should be struck off for her lack of duty and care. 4-5 months of living in abhorrent conditions, personal positions destroyed - an absolute shambles that ended up in a legal dispute. Utterly disgusting.

GoogleOur experience with C.J Hole as tenants in a property for sale has been terrible. The team is extremely disorganised and have on multiple occasions not notificatified or confirmed viewings with us as tenants and appeared unannounced. They have also not arrived for a viewing leaving us to show prospective buyers around the property after they waited outside for 20 minutes with no information from CJ Hole. We also received a letter from a perspective buyer asking for us to pass on his number to CJ Hole as they never responded to his phone calls to view the property. They seem to be extremely inadequate at their jobs and customer service.
