We rented a property in Southsea through Reeds Rains just under a year ago and they have been very good. A special shout out to Jacqui Edwards as she has been absolutely amazing throughout. We've had a couple of issues since moving in so we e mailed Jacqui and she jumped on it straight away and got them sorted. She always followed up with us to make sure any issues were sorted and has been polite, friendly and totally professional in her dealings with us. We are sad to be leaving (personal reasons) however I would highly recommend Reeds Rains as they have been excellent for us. Thankyou Reeds Rains for top quality service and especially Jacqui, you're a star 🌟

I have recently sold a flat through Reeds Rains in Southsea. Both Steve and Dan went above and beyond to ensure the sale went through smoothly, despite it being a challenging sale. They were helpful, professional and communicated every step of the way. It was always a pleasure to deal with them, they make a great team. I have dealt with many estate agents in the area and Steve and Dan are by far the best. I will only use Reeds Rains going forward and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

We have been using Reeds Rains, Southsea for a number of years. We bought a rental flat from them eight years ago, with Dan organising a very smooth transaction. Dan is a top class negotiator and an asset to Reeds Rains who have been both letting and managing the flat for us the entire time. They are a very helpful and professional team. Reeds Rains outshine all other estate agents in Southsea, when it comes to letting a property. The team actually communicate with each other and work to get a resolution to problems incurred. Dan went above and beyond his brief, keeping us informed of progress with a recent new let. Jacqui has sorted maintenance issues, sourcing reliable contractors with our interest fore most. I've been a tenant for nearly two years and Jacqui has been a great supporter. Dealing promptly with any issues whilst managing the landlords interests. I treat the space like it's mine but sometimes things just break or wear out. My washing machine was on its last legs making a lot of noise and packed up on the bank holiday. Jacqui had had someone out to look at it, decide it needed replacing and a new one ordered and installed and two weeks later I'm catching up with the backlog, loving the replacement. Similar story with the oven. Can't fault the support. Thank you.

Recently arranged a rental lease on an apartment in Gunwarf Quays. From our initial enquiry Reeds Rains (Southsea) have been great … very accommodating about scheduling a viewing (we weren’t local so timing could have been a bit tricky) and then through the whole process of referencing and sign up … the lettings team (Andrea, Alice and Keira) were unfailingly cheerful, very efficient and helpful … they made the process very straightforward and helpfully fast tracked the apartment ‘turn around’ to fit with our moving date. Shout out to Andrea who kindly passed on her private mobile number in case we had any issues on the first evening as we didn’t collect the keys until late on a Friday evening. I purchased a property from Reeds Rain, they were really proactive and responsive, Steve couldn’t do enough to help me! When my solicitors slowed things down, Steve was on the phone pushing things along so they were completed on time, he did more work for my house move than the solicitors! Regular check ins to discuss progress and went above and beyond when I wanted to show my family around the home I’d just put an offer on. Would look to use them/Steve again in the future if required

I've spent many years renting in different cities across two countries, and believe me when I tell you my experience with Alice was easily among the best. My parents decided to relocate from London to Southsea and since I'm already a local I was put in charge of finding "somewhere nice" - rather vague instructions for something as important as a house. After calling the agency, Alice booked me a viewing for the same day and thoroughly showed me around. I got the feeling she immediately knew what quirks I was looking for in a house, she was extremely thorough and professionally pointed out all the peculiarities of the property. Despite having to take a lot of thinking time and asking to view the property multiple times I was never made to feel like a burden, Alice was incredibly kind, available and accommodating throughout the entire process. Reeds Rains in Southsea were a very welcoming estate agents when we first joined, as many are, and throughout the tenancy they were as helpful as day one, unlike other estate agents. They always made sure we had 2 way conversation and always included us with correspondence to the landlord. Any issues we had they did their best to sort it and almost all of the time managed to solve the problem. All of the team were transparent, polite and helpful, and professional throughout our tenancy, especially Jacqui who foresaw our moving in and moving out process. Jacqui reassured us that she would do her best to provide us with as many details and guidance as we needed when it came to moving out and arranging our deposit refund, and she did so with professionalism and a smile. Andrea was also responsive with maintenance requests and organising times that suited us. Myself and my partner are grateful for Reeds Rains cooperation and would recommend them to anyone.
