Minimal communication initially to due to lack of response from this branch. Should have been an indication of the service delivery. No progress update given, apparently buyers responsibility to check if there are any issues in regards to the sale. Even 6 weeks after the offer had been accepted, noone made us aware that the seller hadn't found anywhere to buy, despite knowing we had first time buyers, and so no chain. My family and I are more than happy with the service provided at Fox and Sons Bitterne. In particular, Gary, the agent we dealt with was absolutely fantastic, and honestly at times it felt that he was the one standing between us and homelessness. He was (and continues to be even after we signed the tenancy and moved in) always on our side and went truly above and beyond to help us wherever possible. At some points because of issues out of all of our control, we were having daily calls with Gary trying to get everything sorted, and he was dedicated to making sure it did get sorted out, whether that meant several calls to referencing agencies, landlords and even other letting agencies. Really bad experience went to view a property and agent forgot the keys so we said shall we come back in an hour to give you time to get them she said yes. We had a tx saying see you back at property the time we said. On our way there we had a call from her telling us she couldn't find the key but was going to get one from the neighbour who then had gone out when she arrived. So we never saw the property, and they have not called us to arrange another date.

Dealing with Fox and Sons has been the worst experience of my life. Our agent Dean Wight may aswell have just spent 8 hours a day headbutting a keyboard and I would've felt the extortionate amount of money I paid was better spent. Just under 2k to be completely stitched up by this useless agent. Oh, did I mention that he neglected to tell us my partner would need a guarantor to move in as he had just started a new job until the day before we were sposed to move in then told us if we couldn't sort it by midday that day we wouldn't be able to move in and would lose the security deposit we had already paid. Also sent us confidential documents meant for other tenants. DO NOT USE THEM!!!
