That’s is me again. After a very stressful negotiation with this company we decided to continue in the purchase of the apartment and couldn’t be worst. After a lack of information in the home report that builds with more than 4 floors bead to have lift by new regulations and just a few lenders accept to mortgage apartments in 5 floors without lift we got one. Lender tried 3 times to organise the service but Alen and Harris have not organised the appointment so they came to us telling the seller will put apartment back to market. Terrible service,terrible organisation, terrible customer service. Maybe now they will sell to their friend.

I viewed local properties with 3 other agents in the area, no one else presented the properties in as much detail and came back with all the answers to the questions I asked the next day. Paisley office - Professional, friendly, great experience

What a great experience we had selling our parents’ house. Allen and Harris were totally professional and took all the hassle out of selling a property which is 2 ½ hours away from me. The Matterport walkthrough showed the house beautifully. Allen & Harris did all the viewings - 15 in the space of 2 weeks - and secured a great price for us. They were friendly, respectful and kept us informed at all times. This was the Paisley office - a great team!

The whole team at Allen and Harris in Wallingford have been brilliant from the moment I initially approached them about selling my property. I had previously had a bad experience with another agent and they have been an absolute breath of fresh air. Justin and Leanne in particular (although James and Emma have also been great) worked tirelessly to not only secure viewings but also secured an offer which led to the completion of the sale. They kept me well informed throughout the process and I really couldn't recommend them enough. Next time (hopefully not too soon!) I am looking to sell or buy a property I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. Thank you all so much!

We are moving into Shepton Mallet from Jersey (although my husband was born here) and only had a week to view properties during half term as I am a teacher. Charity Shop Sue could show this lot a few things about management. Broker was an imbecile, couldn’t get him off the phone until we paid, then couldn’t get him on the phone. His manager was a nylon shirt wearing narcissist. They caused delay, drift, and endless stress. Avoid like the plague. Financial ombudsman here we come.

PORT TALBOT OFFICE - The worst experience I've ever had with an estate. I had a pleasant viewing with the owner who showed me around when the estate agent wasn't available. Loved the house a d spent 2 hours chatting with the owner who seemed more than keen to sell to me, even asked me to exchange numbers to keep each other updated as this agent allowed his last sale to fall through and never notified him.Later the same day I txt the owner and offered full asking, telling him he could take as much time as needed to decide. He replied instantly and accepted. I emailed the agent and formally submitted my offer as well as my mortgage in principle proof of funds (far more than enough to Substantiate my offer) I phoned the next working day a d the agent Sarah Rowlands was instantly offish and dismissive, huffing down the phone and acting completely put out that I had called. She was annoyed me and the owner had contact and told me nothing had been accepted and viewings would go ahead still.I heard nothing til I was contacted by Rachel in there mortgage team. I told them I had already got a lender I was happy with but was pushed in to chatting with her anyway. After talking through the mortgage info I was then called yo say my offer was accepted and it would be taken off the market....that was until dat laterite Rachel had decided upon herself to go behind my back and speak to my lender and tell me they wouldn't lend to me...pure rubbish, i had personal contact with my lender and was told that agents tend to use intimidating and bullying tactics to force people to pay for their services.As soon as I refused to pay for the agents in house mortgage service I was ghosted and then told my offer had been gazumped and owner stopped contact. I took it as a blessing in disguise as I would never deal with Sarah or Rachel or this crooked company. A week after that I wascontactedby the owner again who assumee I was still buying...I had to be the one to tell him that his agents lied to him and me and that I was messed around and they declined my offer without his knowledge.Avoid these unprofessional,dishonest,useless, crooked liars at all cost!!!

We have successfully moved to our new house. We enlisted Allen & Harris to market and sell our property. Its a niche property but with the expertise and knowledge of Ken Krupinski we completed in early December. Ken is an excellent communicator, not only with ourselves as the client, but by building good relationships with all concerned in the sale and purchase. He is always very positive, gives an honest view of a situation, and always a pleasure to meet with. He is very tenacious, which was needed at times during this sale. Kens tenacity and positivity kept us going through a rather drawn out sale, which was due to a rather slow solicitor! I would not hesitate in recommending Ken and the team at Wallingford.

First time buyers - Excellent team

We were buying as first time buyers, we had no idea what we were meant to be doing and when. Our sale wasn't the easiest due to many complications from the developers, but Carly and the team really went above and beyond for us. I was able to call nearly every other day and they'd all be cheerful, tell me I am not a fool for constantly chasing, and just being absolutely lovely. I highly recommend Allen and Harris! Their customer service is on another level and they would bend over backwards if that would help the process move smoother.

Very little communication. AVOID!!

Avoid this company at all costs. I used the PPAISLEY branch, I was misquoted on the fee cost and over quoted on the value of my property. So, it cost me MORE to sell and my property was worth LESS than they said. After taking time off work to allow Allen & Harris' photographer in my property I ended up asking them to use my own photographs. I was told I would be contacted once a week with an update, but this rarely happened. Prior to my flat selling I hadn't heard anything for over 3 weeks. I has to ask them to check viewers were actually viewing a property that fitted they're search criteria. A constant reason a buyer wasn't interested was that it was in the wrong area. Goodness sake! Google maps!! Check with the buyer where they DO want to stay!! That was beyond strange, why view somewhere that is not in your search area? I honestly doubted half my viewers even existed. Weekly calls from the office from Leanne soon stopped, these calls were embarrassing as Gary who sold me on using Allen & Harris had assured me that my property was in high demand. This was obviously not the case OR this company were not doing their job. I eventually had to chase up this company to make sure they were doing all they could to sell my property. I think they were more relieved my property sold than I was, I got ONE phone call to say an offer was being initiated and that was the last I heard from them. Everything then came thro my solicitor. They did practically NOTHING to earn their over-rated fee. Avoid this company at all costs. I have only awarded 1 star as there is no option to give ZERO.

As first time buyers we were quite naive on how to buy a house and went in thinking it will be one of the most stressful things we'll ever do. However, we couldn't have been more wrong. With the help and guidance of Ken and Justin and the rest of the team at Wallingford Allen & Harris, all went smoothly and we got the keys 9 weeks after our first viewing! They are a very open and honest team who were more than happy to answer our questions and deal with any queries we had, no matter how silly and small they could have been. Due to working for many years in the business, the team have built a great network of contacts. They knew people via our seller's company and even our broker. All this enabled for great communications leading to a quick buying process for us. In light of COVID, they are very educated and prepared; wearing PPE on viewings and requesting we did they same, wiping down all touched surfaces during the viewing and even cleaned the keys when we came to pick them up. They are a happy team and seem to enjoy their job which shows in their high standard of work and professionalism. The house we bought was under 3 further estate agents and we are so glad we went with Allen & Harris. We have been renting for many years and have had experience of many different estate/letting agents. This branch have by far been the most pleasant and productive.
