If you are looking for an Estate Agent in Ivybridge I strongly recommend Mr Jon Curtis-Hawker, and his team, at this branch of GTH. Not only did he find a buyer for my parents house almost immediately but because of all the sad circumstances involved for me personally and bearing in mind that I lived hundreds of miles away he went above and beyond in taking care to make sure the house was looked after as it was empty and that the sale proceeded smoothly.

I honestly don’t know who uses GTH or why! Tried 3 times now over several months to book a valuation with them. Their online booking form for this is beyond pointless as they never have what they state available! Can’t even get them to value your property how are they going to get people to view it! Truly ridiculous.
Dear Karen, we apologise that you have had difficulty with our form. There are some changes being implemented, however, we do receive multiple valuation forms each day and state on the form, and subsequent email to clients, that the time/date is a preference only and that our agents will confirm a mutually convenient time. GoogleStill waiting for refund of monies paid to secure rental accommodation, after the landlady pulled out. Extremely poor service. Also failed to notify goodlord, who continued to send emails and call, in regards to utilities and broadband. All very disheartening.

GoogleOnce we had had our offer accepted on the house which GTH were marketing, the chain stalled due to the usual incompetent and lazy solicitors at one end of the chain. All credit to Sandra at GTH who worked tirelessly liaising with people in the chain and prodding the useless blocker who was holding everything up. That service is vital in today's housing market and GTH was one of only two agents in the chain who really worked to make everything come together for a sudden exchange of contracts all along the chain and completion a breathless seven days later.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

The worst experience ever! We had the agent come to value our property and was told he would do the viewings and would advise better photos to help sell the property which we agreed to. The first viewing was done by a totally unprofessional person.. her first words to the client were, I was wondering where the parking was? Who says that to someone you are supposedly trying to sell the house to. She then said well I’ve not been here before. The office is just 5 minutes from the property surely you would get there 5 minutes earlier and see what you are trying to sell and have the facts that it’s a town house and doesn’t have parking but you can get residential permits. I wish I had left then as things didn’t get better. No one answers the phone, I had to do a viewing myself as they didn’t have enough staff which meant driving two hours there and back as we don’t live there. Then the person who said would do the viewings left the company! Obviously knew he wouldn’t be able to do the viewings as we were told. We have now instructed a professional company and left GTH but now being hounded to pay for photos we were told to get despite the extremely poor service giving us no option but to leave. Definitely would not recommend the Taunton office.
