My husband and I sold our first home with Pygott and Crone Grantham towards the end of 2025. Luke initially came to value our house and he was extremely helpful and also answered a number of queries about other houses we were viewing. Demi was our main point of contact once we started having viewing and her communication was second to none. We were kept well informed throughout and when we experienced a few issues whilst in the process of accepting an offer/awaiting exchange of contracts, she did everything she could to chase things. In Demi’s absence, we also found Tom was very helpful and would like to thank the whole team at Pygott and Crone Grantham. We have recommend you all to our friends in Grantham who are looking to move as we truly felt we were provided with a five star service, thank you again.

Poor estate agent

We have experienced extremely long delays and very poor communication throughout this process. We have been waiting since 6 October to complete on our house, with little to no meaningful progress. We were told that the case had been escalated to a senior case worker, but nothing changed and no improvements were made. Updates were minimal and often required chasing, which added unnecessary stress to an already difficult situation. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Lauren has been absolutely fantastic. Right from the very start, she has been reassuring and pointed us in the right direction. There were moments during the sale that I have felt very nervous and needed reassurance and Lauren has been absolutely lovely every step of the way. Our experiences with Pygotts team in Grantham have been nothing but positive. The sale of our property went very smoothly but further on in our chain things were not and Demi ensured that things kept moving on our purchase which took a lot of liasoning with our sellers estate agent. We dealt mainly with Demi, who was an absolute star, but also dealt with Thomas on occasion who also deserves praise for his calm and reassuring manner. The way the team work together meant that there was always someone to talk to who knew what was going on in the process. Well done for getting us over the line. I have had such a positive experience with Pygott & Crone, as a buyer. They, specifically Demi, genuinely went above and beyond in every step of the process and nothing ever felt too much of an ask. In some ways it felt like Pygott & Crone were coordinating everything in the chain for me; chasing solictors and giving me daily updates. Despite not being the estate agent selling my house (which I wish they had been)! This was my first experience selling & buying and I think without Demi, I would have felt very lost. Pygott & Crone had that personal touch, which from my experience and word of mouth is hard to come by, as most estate agents make you feel like it’s just another transaction. I also used their mortgage advisor Mark, who again made me feel like no problem was too big and I felt like I could call him about anything. He was also really good at talking things through without using technical jargon. Thank you to Demi and Mark.

Initial experience with Sales was extremely good from the detailed tour of the house through to us presenting an offer for the property. Everything during the process was fine apart from we felt slightly pressurized receiving calls to try and hasten our Solicitor if possible for the completion of purchase only to find that there was actually an issue on the Vendors side which was delaying process and of which we were not aware. Apart from this, the service and staff were excellent.

My wife and I have just completed a sale and subsequent purchase through Pygott-Crone. Tom was our first point of contact and he was very helpful, he listened and understood what we were hoping to achieve. We were aided by Tom and the team to get the property we wanted and the team then helped us sell our own property. Demi became our main contact, dealing with our sale. Demi always answered our calls and emails and kept us informed of progress etc. She constantly contacted our buyers solicitors on our behalf and we appreciated her efforts. We have just moved and Pygott and Crone acted as our estate agents. It's so stressful whilst you are waiting to move. We were in a large chain that collapsed once and we has many problems along the way. Non of which were pygott and Crones fault. They were amazing. The commination from them was second to non. I want to shout out a massive thank you to DEMI and TOM they were so professional, honest and informative. Demi went up and beyond to do all she could to keep the chain from collapsing. I’m currently in the process of completing a house purchase with the Grantham branch. The small team have been welcoming and helpful, from the initial viewing with Luke through to Matt and Mark at Stonebow keeping me updated with the legal and financial side. Simon and particularly Demi have been outstanding with regular phone calls to advise about progress with the sale and make the whole procedure feel personal. The Grantham team are polite and extremely efficient. Luke clearly knows his business and valued our house well to sell at a very agreeable price.
