I needed to sell my family home that held 60+ years of memories and from the start I had the professionalism of Sam who gave me very sound advice whilst understanding that there were emotional ties involved for me and was sensitive to this. Very quickly there were a number of prospective buyers. When I had accepted an offer Gill worked tirelessly to see through the process for me and the buyers. There were some unforeseen matters to solve and the communication was excellent from Gill which enabled us to conclude things as soon as possible. The team are friendly and very pleasant to deal with. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic estate agent in every way! By far the best estate agent we have ever used. As sellers, right from the first price estimate Emma Meakin had the insight into the specific buyer we needed to sell our flat at a better price than other estate agents advised. In the end our buyer was identical to who she described we should be aiming to sell to. The team were amazing throughout, our sale took longer than expected due to issues with buyers that had nothing to do with Paul Meakin and the team were kind and patient throughout and continued to work hard to get our flat sold at the right price. We worked with Emma, Natalie, Adam, Amelia and Michelle and cannot speak highly enough of all of them. So friendly, knowledgeable and professional, they always had our complete trust. On top of all this, their fees are reasonable, their photos and listing of the flat was very impressive and they were always on hand to manage our chain, even stepping up and calling all parties when solicitors were slow. Thank you so much Emma and your fantastic team! We will be recommending Paul Meakin to everyone we know, and have already recommended them to friends who had a similar positive experience.

I bought my property in New Addington through Paul Meakin and as a first time buyer, the whole process was difficult at beginning. But the supports and professional advices that I received from the team in the Addington branch made it easy for me as things were progressing. The whole team were fantastic and very helpful especially Amy Hedgecox who I first met while I was viewing properties in different areas. Also, Natalie Chapman was amazing, she replied to my emails promptly and answered all my questions. Though, there were so many other staff that assisted me during the processing but I only remembered Amy and Natalie. Thanks to you all

Throughout our tenancy overseen by Paul Meakin Estate Agents we were guided through it by Aimee Taylor. We found her very personable, honest and forthright. Although there was a boiler problem initially, she dealt with this with alacrity and brought it to a satisfactory conclusion.Owing to problems with our chain of purchase, we had to ask for two extensions to our tenancy. Aimee was always ready to negotiate on our behalf and was very helpful in this regard and was prompt in replying to our other queries.The standard set by Aimee Taylor can only be described as exemplary.I thoroughly recommend Paul Meakin and especially Ms Taylor to anybody considering rentals.

Having interacted with most of the local estate agents in the South Croydon area, Paul Meakin have been one of the most professional agents we have dealt with. Aimee showed us a couple of properties and was prompt and professionalism personified, and nothing was too much trouble. This followed through to us finding a rental (which I had previously contacted another agency about and had been informed it had gone!. During the contract process, Aimee was incredibly understanding and flexible with a number of things that cropped up on our end. Paul Meakin’s check in process is incredibly comprehensive and every mark documented and photographed - I was very impressed! I would encourage landladies/landlords to use Paul Meakin (coming from a prospective tenant I suspect a statement like this to be rare!)

From initial valuation to marketing prep, viewings, handling offers and keeping the sale running smoothly, Emma was a pleasure to work with. She understood our particular property; where other agents knew the road or the postcode and wanted to price compare accordingly, Emma understood the particular value of our house in terms of character, layout, orientation, potential. She also knows the local market and has good relationships with potential buyers so knew exactly who would be looking for our sort of home. Selling in the middle of a pandemic meant we needed an agent to filter out timewasters and respect hygiene guidelines, which the team did. Importantly, Emma also listened to our preferences about timing, especially around viewings - not always easy to manage in a heated market with two small children and all their stuff! - and completion (due to a long distance move). She kept up good communication throughout and helped us to sell to the right buyer at the right price within just a few weeks. The office staff were friendly and responsive to questions and helped the ongoing process run smoothly even though it took a bit longer than expected. If you’re looking to buy or sell in this area, recommended.

What was particularly impressive, was that any member of the team handling the sale was able to provide updates even if others were out on valuations or on holiday. Fantastic service from genuinely nice people. Amy and Heather were absolutely excellent and never had an issue going the extra mile. Amy even provided advice on a property we were buying in Beckenham.Heather helped us achieve a wonderful price for a property and when the house we bought fell through quickly adapted our profile and helped us with our search for a new home (even houses outside of her area).I hardly ever leave reviews but felt compelled on this occasion.No hesitation, I 100% recommend PM and there amazing team.

I recently had the responsibility of selling my parents house, my parents are 90 and 93 years old and suffering from dementia. I employed Paul Meakin Estate Agents in Selsdon, one of the best decisions I've ever made. The whole team were brilliant, from the manager, Sam Weller and ALL who work under her, they were all fantastic but a special thank you from myself and my parents goes to Heather Beaumont who far exceeded any of our expectations. She was professional, patient, polite, proactive, efficient with excellent communication skills. Dealing with my parents is difficult for me let alone for a stranger. I think they looked forward to the viewings just to see Heather. Even after the sale I realised that I had forgotten to take meter readings, I called Heather and asked her to call the buyers for the information, needless to say I had it within the hour!I cannot recommend Heather and the branch highly enough.

I chose Paul Meakin to deal with an Executor’s sale on the basis of an initial meeting at the property with Sam Weller, the Manager of the Selsdon branch. Her enthusiasm and knowledge of the local property market were immediately apparent. After we had instructed the agency to market the property, the service Sam and her team provided went way over and above what I had expected. Particularly helpful, since I was selling the property from a distance, were the offer to “keep an eye” on the property while it was unoccupied, helping to find someone to clear the property, taking final meter readings the day before completion and, of course, finding a good buyer. All “part of the service”. I can’t recommend Paul Meakin too highly.

Sam Weller at Paul Meakin, Selsdon Branch dealt with the sale of my property. She was very intuitive to its current market value and priced it competitively. I was also offered the lowest sale commission rate compared to two other local firms. Once instructed the property was quickly advertised and marketed. A buyer was quickly found who was in a good position to buy it. I was updated throughout the sale as issues arose and were dealt with. I would recommend Sam and Paul Meakin to others.
