Over a week since the review I posted had a reply saying customer care would be reviewing. Still no contact to resolve complaint or build issues identified even before we moved in. Original complaint logged in Nov-25. No answers to calls or emails and even when contact has been made, its all lies and promises to get you to go away and then not acted on, the executives and regional managers need to have real hard look at themselves on how they treat customers. Disgusting. Complaint now raised with NHBC.

We had a few minor snags which needed addressing, we informed our sales representative and within a week Rafal turned up. He was extremely professional and very friendly and completed all the jobs, he was very thorough and made sure they were up to the highest standards. Very impressed.

Sabina, (Just for the record is an incredible ‘one off’ person of such calmness, precision of detail and empathy) the sales representative for Tilia homes, Saints View Telford Shropshire made our experience and journey to our new home very special and personal. From day one on arriving to the development she embraced us and despite our own personal trials and tribulations with general moving house activities, solicitors, banks etc and processes she continued to support us on almost a daily basis working outside her working time to answer any queries and questions and generally gave us the support of a close friend or family member. Our house is beautiful, with such detail for the perfect family home. The support from Sabina, her site manager Jason and his crew! has been incredibly. Thank you to all involved. Loretta & Norman

Ellie kept the process so simple and stress free for us. We were kept informed by Ellie at every stage and when we went to visit she always gave a warm, friendly welcome! Initially when we were looking around, the other developers were just trying to sell, sell, sell whereas Ellie actually took our personal interests into account, didn’t pressure us and just genuinely wanted to do right by us. Thank you so much for helping us buy our first home :)

Not sure how Tilia keep a 5 star HBF rating. Bought on their site at Market Drayton, Montgomery Place. Some large properties at the price point but quality of finish is not great. Poor plastering, painting and joinery for a start. Snags are given back to the original contractor who seems either to be clueless or just make things worse. Carol in sales is great as are Tilias own maintenance team.

As a first time buyer, the whole process was incredibly smooth with Tilia Homes, Kings Park. The communication from the team has been incredible from start to finish, with any question asked responded to promptly. Michelle and Kat at Tilia in Cottenham have been absolutely fantastic throughout this journey, and I am incredibly grateful that I have had their support in buying my first home! Even with the development still being in progress, the groundworkers are very respectful, with the area being kept tidy and noise being managed.

We purchased a plot at the Furlong Heath park in Norwich. Our sales advisor, Ellie was absolutely brilliant. She made our journey purchasing our home seamless and not stressful at all. Nothing was too much for Ellie, she was attentive and professional at all times from letting us view our home whenever to even after when we moved in, still helping us if we needed. Purchased a home 28th Feb 2025. First sign that it wasn't going to be a great experience was that we visited the home early Feb and it wasn't near completion. I believed they would push the date back but they didn't, instead we come to realise they rushed the build through as fast as they could, meaning they sacrificed the works done on the home.

Ellie the salesperson for Furlong Heath warmly greeted us when enquiring about a property within the area. As first time buyers, she explained and showed us various properties that were under the shared ownership scheme to get us on to the property ladder. She was very knowledgable about the process and was easily contactable if we needed to speak to her, while also keeping us in the loop with the development of our property. She was also quick to help where we could arrange dates to get access to the property if required, such as allowing someone into the property to measure windows for curtains or blinds, and to measure some room space for fitted wardrobes etc. Regarding the home buying process, I think it went as smooth as it possibly could have.We have now been in the property for nearly 3 weeks and we are very happy with the overall quality of the craftsmanship of the developers and builders. We had a few very minor snags which was predominantly cosmetic such as a knock or slight mark on the walls that was missed after their snagging and would be expected from any new build property. However, Ellie and Adrian were very quick to organise someone from each group of the workforce on site to rectify any issues.Overall, we are extremely happy with our new property at Furlong Heath and would highly recommend them.

Bought a house in end of 2024 at Manor kingsway Derby. Shocking after care. Had annoying phone calls for 1st few months. No reply for emails after that from customer care. Bought house off plan, outdoor layout changed after moving in.

First time buyers for a shared ownership not knowing how all works we ended up at Saints View development just before Xmas for a viewing and more information. We meet with lovely Sabina and she was really helpful and professional really friendly and explained to us the process. We started the process after the holidays and I cannot express how satisfied we are. They made all worry free always updating us and keeping us informed on what is next . Sabina was always available for any questions we had and believe me we had a few 😅 . Fast forward completion end of February and collected our keys today Jason the site manger that we meet today was really helpful with the walk through and assured us that if we need anything they are there to help us.So far so good . Hope the good experience we had so far will carry on.Thank you Sabina , Jason and all the team at Tilia .

Subsequently, we had a number of different agents visit the property and we struggled to make any kind of progress with our snagging. Graham was able to assist me on a number of different visits, he always ensured to take a thorough list of the issues and remedial works were carried out smoothly. Hayley supported me at Telford Saints View during Black Friday weekend. She was patient, knowledgeable, and there was nothing too big of an ask. Her attention to detail and thoroughness was appreciated and was able to talk through multiple options we had in a world new to me. She’d noted she was only 1 year in a trainee role as an apprentice and I genuinely would have believed her if she had told me she’s been there 5 years. Avoid buying any leasehold flat from this dreadful company. Have had a simply terrible experience with the aftercare team and legacy manager Charlotte Sadler. She refuses to pick up the phone, instead hanging up, and does not reply to emails for months on end. Tilia Homes are the freeholder to the block of twelve flats where we live, of which there has been no operating management company for almost two years. Yet, our ongoing complaint with Tilia Homes, with Charlotte Sadler, has still not been addressed for over one year. Instead, just keep being told it is with 'their solicitors' and going around in circles. All residents of the block of flats just want to have a functioning management company and to be able to sell our flats instead of months of stress.
