We previously used Allen and Harris to market our property and had a terrible experience. Today, we arranged to view a property marketed by them. I had reminder text messages confirming the viewing and when I arrived the owner said he accepted an offer 4 days ago and he was told Allen and Harris would inform anyone who had arranged to view - which they did not. Total waste of time and confirms my views.

GoogleIn the past I have always been left feeling that Estate Agents were a real rip off waste of money, not so Allen and Harris in Frome - they have been worth every Penny. Throughout my sale they have gone the extra mile to ensure that everything was as stress free as possible. All of the staff have been incredibly helpful, Sophie has shown me the utmost care and attention she has been amazing, and I am also grateful to Cat and Rory for their help in navigating the sales process and communicating with my buyer to bring everything to a smooth completion. I would happily recommend Allen and Harris in Frome to anyone looking to put their house on the market in the area.

We used Allan and Harris’ mortgage advisor service. The lovely Alanna Docherty helped us with honestly everything for buying our new house. She was amazing we could not fault her. She really went above and beyond and as for many people, all the things that come with buying the house can be very confusing but Alana explained everything so well and just made the whole process stress free to be honest. She always answered any messages or query’s quick and was always so friendly and polite. Her knowledge is great as well. We are so happy with the service provided and cannot recommend Alana enough. If you are looking for a mortgage advisor she is the one, we will be using her again for future housing things. Thanks so so much again Alana 😊

They assured me it was a good tenant. When I received the referencing it turned out she wasn't earning enough to pay the rent, had lied about her job and salary, had seven addresses in eight years. I only learned this three days before she was supposed to move in. I stopped the deal and decided to sell. Allen and Harris still want their fee. The demand is £300 more than on the contract. Total incompetence.

So poor experience with them. Before peyment was taken, the Sequence Brooker was ringing every day. After payment made, totally change atitute. Lack of communication, no reply, ignoring, waiting forever. Because not receiving support from broker I made bad mistake pull out from property I was hoping to buy. Always been worrying when problem because this broker is not with you when really need.They change big amount of money for lifetime service. But no service after payment.

GoogleWe have had a great experience dealing with Carrieanne at Allen and Harris , she showed us around the property we are purchasing twice, she was very knowledgeable about the property and had a nice relaxed approach to the viewing which is exactly what we like, We had our 3 children with us who she was great with. Carrieanne has done a fantastic job at negotiating with the vendors and ourselves in a speedy manner. Overall a fantastic job thank you.

I used Allen and Harris to purchase a house and Connor Sherman was my estate agent. He was so friendly and helpful. Kept me updated throughout the whole process and would chase up any enquiries that I had immediately.Also, Liam Tresillian, the mortgage broker at Allen and Harris, was extremely helpful and found me the best mortgage deal. I highly recommend using Allen and Harris.

GoogleAwful landlords. Zero respect for me as a tenant - repeatedly send workmen who let themselves into my home without notice or permission, despite asking them repeatedly not to do this - it's against the law! They don't care. Insist on inspections every 3 months, taking photos of my personal possessions, even after 3 years of model tenancy. Hassle me on the phone, calling over and over, despite asking them to email or text only as I work in an NHS setting and can't answer. I don't know if they're all extremely dim, don't communicate with one another or have very poor practices. Either way, I'd avoid as a renter if you can.

That’s is me again. After a very stressful negotiation with this company we decided to continue in the purchase of the apartment and couldn’t be worst. After a lack of information in the home report that builds with more than 4 floors bead to have lift by new regulations and just a few lenders accept to mortgage apartments in 5 floors without lift we got one. Lender tried 3 times to organise the service but Alen and Harris have not organised the appointment so they came to us telling the seller will put apartment back to market. Terrible service,terrible organisation, terrible customer service. Maybe now they will sell to their friend.

GoogleAmazing from beginning to end. I ended up getting rid of my original mortgage advisor as William Proud was superb. The selling team were responsive to anything I sent through. Nothing was too much bother. Grace and the team ensured that communication between myself and the seller was clear. There is nothing I can fault. Being a first time buyer it was all new and daunting but I did not need to worry as the team made it very stress free. Much better than the agents who were selling our property. On what was a very long ongoing sale and purchase through no fault of Allen and Harris Gemma worked hard at trying to keep the chain active and to find solutions to push things on. GoogleKonnor, Ellouise and Devlin in the letting team were full of enthusiasm and energy and did a great job in helping us let our property. They found us a lovely couple who took the property at market rate and have settled in and seem happy and content. Konnor, Ellouise and Devlin always shared updates with each other so whoever we spoke to they up to speed. They were always available to speak to in the office, even if I popped in unannounced, and were very professional with prospective clients.
