With our two cats it's not easy for us to find a house at all. Some agents didnt even respond to our viewing request. Some may have asked for all kinds of personal information, but never got back to us at the end of the day. Been looking on the market for months with no luck, until finally DM&Co helped us find our dream house which we're living in. They genuinely listened and always responded quickly. They're like a breath of fresh air in the local market. Can't thank you enough Chiara!

Great to work with Elaine Birkley (DM&Co Dorridge)

I have been interacting with Elaine Birkley of the Dorridge DM&Co office over the last few weeks and have been impressed with the way in which she has represented her client(s) and the firm.My wife and I found Elaine to be commercially minded and willing to suggest or welcome ideas about approach to different aspects of the property. We liked the property that we saw the first time round, but adored it even more after Elaine offered and granted us a second visit.We are grateful for the professional insights, courtesy and time that she extended to us over weeks that we were in contact with one another.Having said the above, Elaine is also robust (although definitely not in a hard ball / hard sell way) in speaking on behalf of her client(s) and was very firm with what would / wouldn’t be acceptable. She was also persistent in chasing me down for responses (admittedly I’m not the best at picking up calls / texts throughout the day!), but crucially she was never overbearing or aggressive. Per above, I highly recommend Elaine and would know who to appoint if my wife and I were to sell our main residential property.

For my first property, I chose DM and Co to manage, and I have been so impressed with their service! As a first time landlord, it was initially a daunting experience but with Kate's friendly, really helpful approach, the whole experience has been seamless and really easy to handle. They let the property after only 1-2 viewings which was amazing and from them on have always communicated well, been so patient when we had issues with contractors, helped with paperwork and provided a great service! Helpful and supportive team

We used DM & Co to sell our house and whilst at first the sale was pretty straightforward, towards the critical stage of exchange and complete we had a few headaches. This was due to one of the buyers lower down in the chain experiencing some challenges with paperwork. During this time David Master and his colleague stepped up to the mark and helped us enormously, with professionalism, support and kept on the case to ensure we were kept informed of the events that were taking place. We eventually exchanged and completed, and I can only thank David for his great sense of humour and tenacity in ensuring we did get there. DM & Co are a busy estate agent, but they do support you in those very critical times, which is so important and we would not hesitate to use them again.

Estate Agents are ten a penny…

Why do estate agents have such a bad name as mercenaries, leeches, wide-boys in flashy suits and cars? Most of them probably deserve such labelling. They are ten-a-penny, just look at the local newspapers, full of adverts for the multitude of them out there...yet when engaged, they are plugged into one of the most important, value based, emotional transaction in most peoples lives! So it is important if you have to use them that you get it right, they can make such a difference on price achieved/paid, the intermediaries in negotiation reducing your stress and greasing the progress of the transaction getting to a successful conclusion. In most cases, they are a necessary evil...like having to go to the dentist....but it's important to select the best. DM&Co are first class, David steers the sales ship well, Ann went over and above and even on her days off to ensure that we were kept informed of progress on the recent sale, she interfaced well between us and our buyers, almost part of the family, resulting in a very smooth transaction. Thanks Ann, much appreciated!

Just would not have happened without DM&Co

2020 seemed a good year to move house and having accepted an offer in early January, we contacted DM & Co with regards to viewing a couple of properties they were marketing. From the off Ann was great.She really got to grips with what we wanted from our new home and why and then worked hard to get us exactly what we were looking for, with several viewings of houses we liked arranged all over just a few days. The first property that we had an offer accepted on didn't work out 12 weeks later. Then came Coronavirus and lockdown.Throughout it all, both Ann and David really supported us with regular updates and eventually, we had an offer accepted on a property that we had previously viewed with Ann. Despite solicitors on furlough and everything on stop, they worked tirelessly to get the move into our new home over the line, helping us keep our buyer who had patiently waited 33 weeks!We are really grateful for everything they did for us and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone either looking to list or for help in finding their ideal home in the Solihull area.
