DM & Co. - A huge thank you - Victoria you are a star!

As a company owner and employer myself, I don’t often get much time to write reviews, but I felt it was important enough & wanted to share our experience of our dealings with DM, and in particular Victoria, who has assisted us throughout the whole process of agreeing the our purchase.Not only has Victoria helped us by guiding us through the process of agreeing the purchase, she has kept in constant contact, communicating with us on a daily basis and it has been a pleasure with someone who is always so positive on the phone, and always comes across with a lovely can do attitude which is a rare quality to find nowadays.We often don't get enough time crediting staff and employees who go out their way and make such a positive impact and represent their employer is such positive light - She's an absolute credit to DM Homes, she should be congratulated for her excellent customer service, and commitment she has shown in helping us secure our purchase.I would be most grateful if you could thank her personally on our behalf.

Professional, passionate and friendly service

After a few weeks of the house initially being on the market we changed estate agents to DM and Co. and are so pleased we did so. A big thank you to Ann for marketing and selling our mother’s house. Nothing was ever too much trouble, she always responded to our calls and queries expeditiously, sometimes out of hours. Well what a turnaround

Well what a turnaround. I live in a different area to my Dad and have heard nothing but stress over problems not being rectified with his rental property. I have recently been in touch with Julianne from the office and the communication has been amazing. Poorly managed sales progress

I was left to fend for myself as soon as the sale was agreed. I was initially sold DM & Co as being different from the competition and their fees reflect this. There was no email or call after sale agreement other than in reaction to my calls. I have been left to manage the sales process and ask the telling questions.To elaborate. There was no proactivity nor satisfactory due diligence of purchaser’s proof of funds, (in my opinion). They took the purchasers word on all claims made and didn’t check the veracity of their statements. They didn’t cross reference with the purchaser’s agents until I suggested this. On more than one occasion I had to suggest they check the purchaser’s statements. The purchaser didn’t instruct his solicitor until 2 months after the sale was agreed. This has cost me time and money.This agency is more expensive than others though they fall short of their claim to warrant the cost by being superior to their competitors. Their only claim is in achieving a sale that I agreed that could still fall through. I have a further property to sell next year and I would think long and hard before considering them again unless their practices changed.

Excellent Service from Dominic and his team!

After recently completing on the sale of my property. I can not recommended DM and Co highly enough. Dominic and his team provided a professional yet personal service. I was kept up to date every step of the way during my sale, and there was always someone on the end of a phone, or email, to answer any questions quickly and helpfully. Given the current situation with the covid-19 pandemic, I have to give them extra credit for their continued hard work and professionalism getting the sale through. I would not hesitate to recommend them and would definitely use them again in the future. The whole team have great local knowledge and were there to talk to throughout the sale, making what can be a stressful process a little less so!

Bought (off market) and Sold through DM&Co

Excellent service! We viewed a property with Dominic and he listened to what we were looking for in our 'Forever' home and immediately highlighted another property that we may be interested in. We viewed this property off market quickly had our offer accepted allowing us time to sell ours. We decided to sell through DM&Co. Having had very poor experience of other local estate agents recently I can say that this was as stress-free and a sale and purchase could be and DM&Co were key to that. All the staff (Particularly Ann who did our viewings) were professional polite and really seemed to want to sell our house from us. Ann arranged viewings to suit us and was really helpful with her feedback. Through the conveyancing process the team were on top of where each side were and we managed to move on a date to suit all parties well. Thank you DM&Co.

Having just exchanged on our purchase and sale I'd like to say how professional, helpful and friendly all the staff (especially Ann and Debbie) were at DM&CO Shirley. We had a number of unavoidable setbacks during our sale however DM&CO were superb at sorting everything including arranging new viewings on our property and dealing with other individuals in the chain. If it were not for them I strongly suspect we would not have completed on our purchase and got the house we wanted. A big thank you to you all :)

Very disappointing experience with DM & Co estate agent

Very disappointing experience with D M & Co estate agents. All went well to start with after we signed up with a very nice competent young sales negotiator, however things soon changed when he mysteriously left the company without any warning or explanation.The replacement sales negotiator soon proved to be a pure novice at negotiating, leaving us in a poor situation with three prospective purchasers, even when trying to resolve matters with their director Craig Simmonds as per their policy we were given the statement “well ask yourself if you really want to sell it” that’s some business accument.I would not use or recommend D M & Co estate agents to anyone looking for an estate agent in the Solihull area.
