A five star service from a fantastic team! We asked Dixon’s of Solihull to list and sell our home and we are very happy to report that they made our choice a great one. Right from our very first consultation with Vicky, we were given all of the information we needed on what to expect throughout the process. As it was our first sale, her professionalism put us at ease and gave us confidence we were in safe hands. Our Sales Progression was handled by Dan and he did a remarkable job. With constant communication, whether by email or phone, we were always informed of how our progress was going. Sadly not the best review, however i should state that the staff at Dixons Solihull were friendly, helpful and very patient. This review is more about the processes in place and their property management company. Back in August 2019 we had arranged to move into a property and the day prior to the move I received a call telling me that we were not able to move in as the gas safety check needed to be dealt with as the property wasn't safe to move into. Absolutely no problem with waiting until a property is safe, although the day prior to the move (with a company already paid and ready to move all of our contents) isn't adequate and it took a few difficult conversation with the movers company to move the move date until later that week. I later found out that Dixons had the evaluation of the property nearly 5 days prior, although it was basically on a pile waiting to be worked. When it came to us requiring a fix to the shower (the only time we ever needed help) the property management company had 'lost' our request and two weeks later we had a phone call to say it would be resubmitted and someone would attend, nearly 3 weeks later. This was again a number of calls later on my part. Finally when it came to moving out of the property and arranging for the deposit to be returned it took at least 5 phone calls and various emails because of the reason 'admin reasons'. No one was contacting me with any movements of the deposit. Understandable in the current climate most companies are on skeleton staff, although this could have been dealt with much quicker prior to the staff shortages. I was promised a number of phone calls and not one person called me. Again as this is the property management company, although as the arrangement is with Dixons sadly i feel this is something you should review since it is a reflection on Dixons. Finally after a month and a half we have now received the deposit. My frustration is mainly down to the fact of lack of communication. It would be much better and reassuring if we were kept in the loop with a phone call as promised, although as we were repeatedly told it's down to the management company to call, the poor staff at DIxons end up being the middle man. That said it reflects on Dixons due to whom they choose to represent them. My landlord as just as frustrated since he pays them a fee for a mediocre service. Again most of this is down to the property management company and feedback should be provided as such. The staff at Dixons were very patient with me and I can't thank them enough for all of the help they have given me, especially Leah and Rebecca, so thank you! Who represents the business should have some careful review as how we've been treated puts me off using Dixons again. The stars given is simply for the staff as they really were a pleasure to talk to.

Me and my partner have just purchased our first home through using Alex Hodson as our advisor through Countrywide in the Dixons solihull branch. I can't recommend Alex enough! I have been dealing with Dixons Estate Agents (Solihull) for many, many years now, not only to purchase residential property, but also having sold many of my own properties with them. I am a local, independant, property developer who relies on pure proffesionalism, honesty, customer service and communication..... Dixons, Solihull deliver on all of the above, and much more. The Branch Manager Adam Henry and his team have always given me excellent advice, accurate valuations and the best customer service. The after sales service is also second to none, as anyone who has been through the 'what could be' stressful selling procedure, would know. Adam, who is the office manager and also carries out the Market appraisals/ Valuations, together with Faye, both have many years of experience and are excellent In their profession. Adam and his team keep all parties fully upto date on the progression of the sale/ purchase and making sure everything runs as smoothly and as swiftly as possible. Just to summarise, if you are thinking of buying or selling a property, then I would highly recommend using Dixons Estate Agents.... Everytime! This was the second time we used Alex, he is brilliant. The first time was when we bought our first home and the second for our remortgage. He is really helpful and knowledgeable. For our remortgage he found us a great deal, He was always in contact throughout the process. When it came to the final completion statement, he advised us to contact our old mortgage because he thought they may not have accounted for our recent mortgage payment. Turns out he was right and the mortgage company refunded us a whole month. Which is great! (We wouldn’t have known this if it wasn’t for Alex) 👌🏻
