My house was officially on the market for 8 days before it sold! Spent 2015 redecorating our house and had it ready to go on the market in January 2016. I like working with independent businesses, especially local ones. So Morfitt Smith seemed a fantastic choice. Jon came to visit us almost immediately, having not sold a house before I was expecting this process to drag out for quite some time. Jon came across incredibly passionate about the service they deliver, with house moving being one of the most stressful things you can do in life this was music to my ears that they cared so much. Within days they sent a professional photographer down at our convenience (given we work full time) to capture some amazing images that appeared in the brochure and the listing soon followed. The For Sale sign was due to go up early the following week, we received a few calls on the Friday to book in 5 viewings over the weekend! They followed up calls with us and the viewers for feedback, so we were kept in the loop all the way. The following weekend another 7 viewings followed. Again, my expectation was this process could drag on for some time so I was completely blown away when THREE offers came in. So the viewings Morfitt Smith arranged clearly weren't time wasting or window shopping and the visitors we had were overwhelmed, which pays a compliment to the brochure they did for the marketing. We actually received an offer higher than our asking price which basically covered our solicitors fees. We have a responsibility to present the house to make it attractive to buy but I was blown away by what Morfitt Smith did. The service was very personal and I felt very valued throughout the process. Solicitors of the people we were buying from needed a nudge to make a swift move and Morfitt Smith did all that, again keeping us in the loop all the way by email and phone. You pay for a service you expect it to be good but these guys clearly see going the extra mile as their standard practice. Highly recommend them to anybody if you not only want a fantastic service but also a fabulous company to represent your house sale. Thanks again to all the team for your amazing work.

We sold our family home of 10 years with Morfittsmith and was fully satisfied with the excellent service which was provided to us. Our property sold in just 3 days!! and went for a considerable amount above the asking price, which of course we was delighted with. The staff at Morfittsmith (at all branches) kept us up to date regularly with the stages the sale went through. I would definitely recommend Morfittsmith for buying or selling to anyone who wants a quick, friendly and stress free moving experience.

Poor service, Cowboy sales men,. suggest you get every communication via email. Micheal Tonks especially is a sales man that attempts to lead you through the sale with cracking quotes like "we'll surveys aren't really appropriate on houses under 100 years old", "well every house has a bit of damp is no reason for checks","that's covered by the warranty but its chargeable" By the end of which i kind of expected to walk away with a rusty Vauxhall Corsa with Sawdust in the gearbox. In later stages they have no control of the chain, which we were advised was chain free in every conversation with the agent for 4 months (remember to read everything clearly as you won't get the truth verbally) even the solicitors were unaware of this as they weren't informed. I attempted to handle this complaint with management however took 3 weeks to get a response, and when they did they simply blamed me... We enter these things expecting a bid of honestly and a duty of care. but you will fine neither here...

Dishonest agency - if you are a tenant, I'd recommend avoiding any properties managed by MorfittSmith, as we found them to be highly dishonest in their dealings at the end of tenancy. After a long dispute, the DPS decided to return our deposit in full.

They don't care if their tenants are a nuisance to the neighbours, as long as they get their rent money. When you complain, they say they will look in to it, but they do nothing ! This is my experience with the Crookes branch over the last many years, and about 5 different tenants. The next one is due soon, if things don't improve, I will report them to the council.

Useless. Took ages to get a response in relation to dodgy taps, eventually they came and fixed them but they've broken again and no response. Upon 'fixing' the taps whilst we were away on holiday they could have had a look at all the other minor issues we brought up on a regular inspection but alas, they left them. At least they tried I suppose....
