GoogleThe Oakwood team at Burnham have excelled yet again in finding a suitable tenant for a local property ! Particular thanks go to Katie and Rebecca for their polite, professional and efficient manner in dealing with all aspects of this process. Additionally, during their holidays, I was very impressed to be looked after by Rachel (Regional Lettings manager) who spent a lot and time and effort, in between her other commitments, to finalise this agreement and ensure that landlord and tenants were all very happy. GoogleWe have been renting a property in Burnham since December 2021. The dryer has not been working properly since we moved in, we were told some hand movements inside the barrel would do the trick, maybe it’s a magic trick? In may 2022 we requested for this to be repaired again with little hope, we were told that we would get a new dryer. It is now mid July and we are still waiting patiently as the year goes by. This is just one of many things that have taken a period of time to resolve with Oakwood estates, I could go on. There has been very little communication unless I send an email first regarding progress. I was told that someone was coming to install the new dryer a few Wednesdays ago, I took a day off work and nobody turned up. When I asked the agency about this, they responded by telling me that I wasn’t home. Come on guys, at least communicate that whoever was supposed to come, couldn’t make it for whatever reason…. I mean if we are starting to lie about things, Is the dryer even ordered Kate? I do get my payment reminders on time every month though.
Dear Farah Our contractor reviewed this issue on 10th November 2021 which was at the start of the tenancy and was able to get the machine working. The contractor showed you how to operate the machine and you were confident that you would be able to manage moving forward. In the meantime, the contractor made a considerable effort to source a new machine. The machine is an integrated model, which has since been discontinued and an unusual size and therefore not easy to replace. Following the onsite instructions provided by the contractor we did not receive any further communication from you until 7th May 2022 when you alerted us that you were unable to use the machine. Once we were made aware we opted to instruct a second contractor to take a look at the machine and get another perspective. This contractor advised a replacement was best, but also advised it would be unlikely we could find one in the UK to fit within the allocated space. Oakwood Estates immediately contacted and advised the Landlord who sought help from a kitchen installation team who are able to get appliances from abroad. A machine was promptly ordered, however due to the lengthy distance it would have to travel we were advised the shipment would take around 4 weeks. The machine arrived and delivery date was scheduled for the 29th June 2022, however the installation team advised that no one provided access on the pre-arranged appointment. We are now waiting on availability to re-schedule a further installation date. We have been transparent and communicated this to you at all times and therefore do not feel that the negative review is a true reflection of our service considering the difficulties met to fulfil your request. We have worked relentlessly to try and obtain a solution. Please note that despite taking the property as seen on the viewing, we met your additional requests to re-decorate the rooms throughout which was a kind natured gesture from the landlord and one which we supported you on. GoogleAfter only being in the area for several months I was a bit apprehensive about dealing with the unknown territory of the Lettings Agency. I needn't have worried. The team at Oakwood Estates have been amazing. I have to give a big thank you to Kane Barber-Moore. He is absolutely amazing. So friendly, listened to what I wanted and did everything he could to help find the right place. Whilst I haven't found anything yet ( down to my fussiness lol) I know I will with the help of Kane and his team. Well done guys and thanks for everything so far 👏 👍

GoogleI’ve recently been in contact with many estate agents in the area. We’ve been quite desperately looking for a property around Burnham for a little while now and have had very poor customer service from other company’s. I found Caitlin at the Maidenhead branch to be exceptional, who also got me in touch with Shannon at the burnham branch, who also was extremely exceptional. Customer service seems to be an effortless task, and going the extra mile seems to be be Shannon’s motto. For me to leave a review when I haven’t even 100% got a property yet; says it all. Shannon has worked tirelessly to help us in our property search, to the point where even if we aren’t able to get a property (though I am certain we will) I would still be so so so extremely thankful to Shannon and her team, and would never use another estate agent company. Shannon is a true asset to yours team, I truly hope she gets the recognition she deserves.

GoogleLaura, our Oakwood estate agent sales manager, has walked this journey with us of selling our house for over a year now from when I first started to think about selling and getting the house ready to sell, to the point of sale. Her advice has been invaluable. Laura was very realistic, not over inflating the price and literally within days of advertising the house, her team saw over 12 viewings and secured a deal getting me more than I’d hoped for. The process to complete the sale has sadly been a long journey but Laura has always been available, often responding to my queries out of hours, and she has always been quick to follow through and give me regular feedback, being an excellent communicator between buyer, seller and representative solicitors. Holly was incredibly nice and welcoming to me when showing me around the studio I am now going to be living in for the next year and offered her full support and was able to answer most questions I had regarding the property, referencing systems and any other additional admin questions. If you are ever in Burnham/Slough, I would highly recommend using this company! as overall service is excellent, they have some very beautiful properties and it had been a smooth and diligent process for me.

GoogleOakwood estate agent Burnham branch assisted efficiently and swiftly in confirming an agreed Tenancy agreement; Holly was particularly pleasant when viewing the property and acted quickly in completing contracts. We had a move in date within the week. Oakwood estate agents also offer a free one stop shop service for all utilities and insurance which was so easy to set up. We found Oakwood estate agent efficient and honest and highly recommend people to conduct their move through them.

The sale had a setback with a buyer dropping out through no fault of Oakwood’s or the property but Oakwood had it remarketed the same day and had a new buyer before the end of the week. All viewings were well arranged and managed, and Edward was very helpful and responsive to all my emails and calls throughout the process. Thank you to Oakwood Estates for your persistence when complications came up and achieving a successful sale.

GoogleMe and my partner are both first time buyers. Since having our offer accepted last December, we have had numerous problems with both ours and our seller's solicitor. Michael was the sole person helping us to understand the process , and most importantly, keeping it moving. He was key from offer acceptance, right through to the completion day when we were still waiting for information from the seller's solicitor. We have no doubt that we would still be caught up in the process if it wasn't for Michael's amazing work! He has been so great that we have already decided to use Oakwood when we eventually come to sell (hopefully not for a while!).
