"I was Absolutely Disgusted..."

I was Absolutely Disgusted today when i walked into this estate agent with my teminally ill mother, We had expressed an interest in selling with the above agents, the agents had been given the key in a view to instruct but as of today i had not officially instructed them. When i went into the office today it was as such that my mothers situation had changed and we were going to let it out again instead due to her health situation being so fluid, The Chap who was called in to speak to us was obstuctive and rude when asked if we could have our key back saying and i quote " i Should put a charity sign over the door" I challanged him about his demina and he was continually rude. I am contemplating approaching the local papers about it.

This branch has looked after

This branch has looked after my house for the last decade and during that time I can honestly say that I have not had to worry about my property. When the tenants have raised an issue, I have been informed promptly so that the issue can be dealt with. Conversely therefore I should think that this would also mean that tenants are happy in their dealings with Belvoir as they are quick to act and respond to concerns. When a tenant caused damage to my house I was supported and helped no end by the staff. It would have been a far more stressful situation without the professionalism of the staff involved. All in all I am very happy to recommend their services to everyone.

From the outset the team were welcoming, professional and friendly. When we had some serious heating issues everyone in the office responded quickly and effectively with Peter the owner even spending his own money to bring coal and some heaters from his office to tide us over until the repairs could start. Now that's what I call going above and beyond what any other estate agent has ever done and why I can't rate the team highly enough. Down to earth, professional, friendly and deserving of 5 stars. For supposedly professional lettings agents, I can't believe how unprofessional this company is! The staff are rude and are unwilling to help the landlord, so long as they are getting their money nothing else seems to matter! It's no wonder there's now more people renting privately as I would have had a lot less hassle this way. Just a few points Belvoir should have acted upon when I took back my property, bins left full, kitchen not even cleaned, chipped kitchen floor tiles, cat hairs all over the curtains, shocking unauthorised painting in the bedroom using up paint which was for another room, garden a mess, the list goes on! We never had a full months rent as they found something that 'required maintenance'. If you want a professional lettings agent who will look after your property and who works for you, don't choose Belvoir.

Belvoir Lettings in Sealford

Belvoir Lettings in Sealford are excellant. My partner and I split up this year and I didn't quite have enough money for the deposit and six months rent. They helped me with a repayment scheme which allowed me to move into the property. They helped me find the right property for me and my pet. They sorted out the paperwork and inventory for me leaving me the time to sort out other matters. The service they provide is second to none and any problems that I have had with the proerty have been dealt in a timely fashion leaving me with no worries and enabling me to get on with my life. When ever I have popped in to their office to hand over any previous tennets mail thay have always made me feel welcome, nothing is to trival to them. They are the most helpfull and pleasant staff you could ever meet. I hope they go from stength to strength. All I can say is keep up the good work as you provide an excellent service, which in this day and age is hard to find.

When you are in the property

When you are in the property Great ! When you leave that is when they catch you out . Empty all bins a bit difficult on a 2 week cycle if you leave on the day before they are due to be emptied! ( they will charge you too empty them ) We forgot to clean the windows £60 yes that is correct £60 plus £15 Belvoir arrangement fees! "I put a roof over your families head " quote from Peter atkinson in a email regarding dispute from property we rented for 6 years never missed rent passed all checks ! Remember when they have checked you out you cannot do any remedial cleaning they charge £15 for each contractor. soon adds up! When we moved into our second rental with belvoir the property had in excess of 40 areas of concern re dirt and not cleaned. We provided our own DVD inventory check AND THE AGENT SIGNED DIRTY AREAS AGREEMENT AND ACCEPTANCE ( the previous tenant was a senior employee from Moy Park ! perhaps Belvoir did not wish to upset large corporate client ! When you check out take a look at the agents car it is packed in the boot with cleaning products makes you wonder about cleaning and charges ? Remember you may get only a bit of your deposit back . I note all comments re agent relate to landlords they certainly look after them they forget the other client the poor tenant ! We are 2 professional people .

Some staff such as Reece and Millie are lovely and helpful - others need to attend a course on professional attitude. Beware of moving into a Belvoir property if you have children - some members of staff don't realise renting a property can involve all the family and children are clearly not welcome or tolerated at move-out. When there is a problem with the property - report and keep reporting until something is eventually done!

We had a heating issue when we moved into our new home. Belvoir was not at fault but the cam out late in the evening with two radiators so we wouldn't freeze. Peter also came out to try and fix the issue, unfortunately there was little he could do, but he tried.
