Started renting a house in June this year. Mid pandemic. But the agents at Belvoir were amazing, very professional and sticking to government guidelines 100%. I've never had a bad 'crossing' with them, they've always responded within really reasonable, if not quicker, times. They will try to extort money from you on your way out, make sure they conduct an in person exit inspection and make sure you are aware of your rights, the landlord is responsible for wear and tear, not the tenant. Money currently held in a DPS dispute.

I was very disappointed that it took over 4 weeks to get a gas engineer out to the property to confirm that the oven did indeed not work. I was unable to cook anything other than on the hob and it is not the time of year to be eating salad. I know the first gas engineer was a no show and they had to find another one; but that really didn't help me. Additionally I had to advise that the engineer hadn't arrived. The fact that he didn't collect the key should have prompted a proactive action. The staff in the agency are very nice. It's a real shame that their contractor has prompted this review. Anyway, I now have a new oven (thank-you) and a dining room filled with packaging materials (grrrrr.)

Belvoir has managed my house

Belvoir has managed my house for about 3 years, and they have been fair and positive with every aspect of my dealings with them. They have found tenants who are good, look after the maintenance issues fully and at a reasonable cost, and having had my house trashed by tenants under a previous letting agent, I really cannot speak highly enough of their principles and practice. I am able to trust them in all my dealings with them, and I feel sure the tenants also find their approach helpful and positive. This house was my home, and so being able to rely on them means a great deal to me.

In the first inspection of our property we were told that we had really made the place nice and homely and that's what renting with Belvoir has enabled me to do, have a home and not just a rented property. I have two rental properties

I have two rental properties in West Yorkshire, and Belvoir only manage one of them (due to location). Having a second letting agent to compare their services to really proves to me on a frequent basis how much better the service they provide is! Belvoir staff are so friendly, easily contactable and approachable, their level of communication is exceptional. If there are ever any problems with my tenants, no matter how minor, I am kept thoroughly informed throughout, without the feeling of being harrassed. I have extremely high levels in trust in them as a company, which they rightly deserve. I have never had one single problem with their services in 10+ years of them fully managing my property and would recommend them to absolutely anyone. I genuinely wish they could manage my second property in Bradford, my life would be much easier if they did!
