She worked hard to keep us informed and trying to keep communication between the solicitors going. Never a easy task!! I had contacted them about renting a house. Two days before moving in, they rejected my application based on a misrepresentation of a material fact. They wanted to retain my holding deposit, but they returned it after I threatened to sue them. They are a waste of time and poor services too.

As we were selling on behalf of a relative and live several hours travel away, Yourmove had a list of trusted suppliers, all of whom we used to clear the house, do maintenance work, decoration etc to get the property ready for sale. TrustpilotThey will scam you out of your deposit
They tried to scam me out of my deposit. I was told that the landlord was uncontactable and that I couldn’t have my deposit back until he approved it and that he had 90 days to respond. When I finally got the number of the deposit holding company (after weeks of calling and asking for it) they told me that if I had waited 90 days, they would have released the deposit to the landlord and I would have had to go to court to get it back. I was lied to by multiple employees of your move, they refused multiple times to give me any information about the holding company, they were rude and dismissive throughout almost every exchange, they often promised to call me back about the deposit but never did.

GoogleWe chose Piers and his team having had a good experience with them over a decade ago. We are extremely glad we did. Piers gave us honest and realistic market advice from the start that proved to be spot on. Mandy, who was our main contact was faultless from start to finish in a long and sometimes very challenging process, with Piers stepping in on occasion when Mandy was away, with his normal professional and competent manner. They earned every bit of their percentage and more, and everyone in the branch, is genuinely lovely to deal with. Nothing was too much hassle for them. We highly recommend.

GoogleThe Sidmouth Your Move team handled the sale of my mothers property, although they may have chosen not to if they’d realised how complicated it was going to get! Mandy Lewis went to enormous lengths to help us and the buyer. She was completely on the ball with every aspect of the sale, offering sage advice and being a very diplomatic go between. Her superpower is dealing with elusive Conveyancing solicitors! I’ve never felt the need to leave a positive review for an estate agent before but I can’t recommend this team highly enough!
