GoogleWe had a valuation today at our address in Shrewsbury and would like to thank DB Robert’s for their professionalism and helpfulness, from the first phone call with Andrea booking in the valuation to Thomas who came out to our home to explain everything to us . Once we are able to put our property on the market we will definitely deciding to ask DB Robert’s to sell our property in the near future. GoogleAndrea was friendly and professional. Viewings were booked promptly and communication was clear. DB Robert’s are so familiar with the area and appointments were booked with travelling times taken into account. The viewings were punctual and the company rep who showed us round was friendly but let us have time and space to look. She encouraged us to come back if we wanted further time to consider. The vendors property was securely locked on exit and treated with respect.

TrustpilotRental - when the tenancy isn't working
Like insurance, you only know how good a Letting Agent is when there is a problem with the tenancy. Have rented the same property via DB Roberts for nearly 20 years with few problems with changeovers, etc. Sadly the last tenant didn't fulfil the obligations of their agreement, including non-payment of rent. DB Roberts were extremely thorough with their paperwork and dealing with the tenant. They also arranged the flat clean-up and refurbishment, in a very short window, so that the property could be returned to the market within 10-days. As a private landlord, this took a huge amount of the stress away. Would suggest any landlords strongly consider take out the rent guarantee and insurance, as getting property returned is only getting more complex

Nicole is always friendly and polite. She is able to organize contractors and tenancy agreements and remedy any issues arising as required. Sometimes we have had more serious issues with one property at which point Nicole consulted with a senior team member and proceeded to resolve the issue in a capable manner. This shows that Nicole is able to work effectively both as a team member and independently. She is further able to liaise with a diverse range of people in a pleasant manner.

Adam was able to smoothly walk my Nan through her sale and achieved the asking price within just 3 days of the house being put up online. Adam spent time explaining everything calming and effectively to my Nan who by her own admission doesn’t understand the process and Adam since the sale has taken it upon himself to assist my Nan with dealing with Solicitor whilst I live so far away.

Our experience with DB Roberts was very disappointing to say the least. Alarm bells started ringing when the valuers insisted on marketing the property too high; I gave the benefit of the doubt with this but it quickly became evident that the price was too high when I didn't have a single viewing for a month. Once I reduced the property price, I sold only for the buyer to pull out after 6 weeks. The buyer pulled out via email and DB Roberts failed to communicate this with us for a number of days. Once the house was put back on the market; we received some viewings. However, each time DB Roberts told us the viewers were proceedable; we later found out they were not! The final straw was when DB Roberts booked in a couple to look round our property; initially telling me they were proceedable and had sold their property? When chatting to the couple, they said they were homeless and didn't know what an agreement in principle was. We felt we were constantly being lied to all the time with DB Roberts. Needless to say, we marketed the property with another agent who sold it in 5 days and eventually completed. I would NOT recommended DB Roberts to anyone!
