After having been let down by another agent earlier in the year, we decided to market our property in Wem with Belvoir. This was the best decision for us and we wish we had chosen the Belvoir team to start with! Our house was on the market for a month at which point we agreed a sale on it, with completion following a month after. We would like to thank Lindsey, Helen and Richard for their dedication and professionalism throughout. The quality of the brochure and other marketing materials was great; everything was sent to us for review and approval ever so swiftly! We had a steady stream of targeted viewings which was very encouraging to see especially in comparison to our previous experience. Communication from Lindsey in the main, but with Richard and Helen stepping in as and when, was excellent. The team was mindful of our busy schedules and used whatever communication channel worked best at any given time. Queries were addressed within hours and we were being updated along the way. The support Belvoir provided during every stage of the process was very much appreciated because we had never sold a house before. It was refreshing to be able to rely on the team and not have to worry about and / or chase anything. They were always approachable and answered all our questions (most of which must have been silly!). Selling a house is stressful and it can be difficult to choose an agent to work with. Helen and Richard at Belvoir Shrewsbury sold our flat in the centre of town. Helen made a great video for the online brochure, and we had a buyer in reasonable time in a very slow market. The legal stage was a real trial for reaqsons that are hard to pin down, but Helen and Richard listened calmly to my ranting and were helpful in keeping the buyers onside. It went through in the end, 2 months later than expected, to relief all round. You may find a slightly cheaper alternative, but the service provided by the Belvoir team was worth it.

We’re sadly saying goodbye to Belvoir after 25 years! Over this period they have handled numerous lettings of two properties and their eventual sales. All the tenancies have all been excellently managed for us, with seamless changeovers and efficient handling of any maintenance requirements. I think that our tenants would say the same thing. Even when we were living outside the country we had no worries, we knew that we could leave everything to the friendly, reliable team at Belvoir. We would like to say a special thank you to Nicky who has been there throughout our experience with Belvoir. She knows how to make everything happen efficiently, effectively and with a smile. A professional, friendly, proactive and efficient service. Our only regret is not appointing you earlier when selling our property, we may have sold whilst the market was slightly more in favour of the seller! We sold very quickly once Belvoir marketed our property and despite other similar & local properties having already reduced their prices below our asking price, Belvoir managed to get us within 4% of the original asking price. Again, at a time when the market was already in favour of the buyer. There was no pressure from the team to accept or push for more. Their approach ('behaviour') was reasonable for both us and the buyer - no 'games' (that we had seen other agents try). This honest and fair approach certainly increased our trust in them and we will definitely approach them first if/when we next sell. Primarily dealt with Richard and Helen. Both quick to respond on questions/concerns we had at points throughout the process, as well as providing frequent and informative updates. Fees were slightly higher than other local agents quoted, but the service received was worth it. Thanks to their expertise and support we came out the other side without high blood pressure and grey hair, thank you!

I've dealt with multiple people here at Belvoir Shrewsbury over the years, the lettings team managed the property when it was being rented and the sales team dealt with the sale process. There's a complex history of help and support they've provided during my time with them, which can't fit in this single review, neither can my gratitude. While the whole team has probably had to step in and help with my property at one point or another, there are some key players who were absolutely essential in managing and selling my property. Richard and Nicky both helped immensely with managing the property as a rental for years, not only handling tenancies seamlessly but also surpassing expectations and supporting me through multiple complex works to the property. Then when it came to the sale, this was incredibly tricky for multiple reasons, not just because it was a listed building. Both Helen and Richard stuck with it despite numerous sales falling through for different reasons relating to solicitors, lenders etc. But every time, Helen was ready to pick up the pieces and start again, reviewing our strategy and suggesting new ideas, including an auction sale which also fell through. Despite the consistent negative news of sales falling through, Helen would get the marketing back up and running, arrange multiple viewings within days and usually find new potential buyers within a week or so. Without Helen and Richard's persistence and support, I couldn't have got this sale completed, and so it goes without saying that I can absolutely 100% recommend Helen, Richard, Nicky and the rest of the team at Belvoir.
