FacebookChris, Mandy and all the team at Goodman and Lilley worked really hard to get my house across the line, after I was really let down by their competitor. It was a really difficult sale and the team maintained open, honest and constant communication throughout.

GooglePosted a review a little while ago but thought it would make sense to write a small bit about my experience with this company. My partner and I were looking for a new flat to move in to and I had arranged a viewing but needed to get a train ride to the offices and then head to the flat from there. I’d gotten off the train and was literally on the doorstep of the company when I’d had a phone call and voicemail left saying the viewing in 5 minutes was cancelled. Absolutely fuming at the time I walked into the offices as I was at the door already and was met with an apology but nothing they could do. I understand, things happen, but for the agent to tell me that the current tenant had let her know half an hour ago that the flat would not be available for viewing, yet she had only managed to call me 5 minutes prior to the appointment. With enough notice it would have been fine as I may have not caught the train already. Of course I left in a bit of a huff due to lack of notice. I’d taken time off work for this and I’d travelled so I was upset as I was excited to see our potential new home and be let down at such short notice. She asked whether I wanted to arrange a viewing for another time but I was just so frustrated I wanted to leave. Fast forward to a few days later I receive a call and another voicemail from the SAME agent saying that the viewing we had arranged for that day was unfortunately cancelled....? Immediately called her back and said that she’d obviously rang the wrong number so she could tell the actual viewer the news and the fact the current tenant/landlord keeps cancelling these viewings I’m surprised if she’ll ever rent out the place. It was gorgeous and I was sad to have let it go but I was not willing to put up with the unprofessional way I was treated. I’ve seen the rest of the reviews and they are very positive so I understand it may have just been bad timing for me and things do happen. I was just extremely disappointed on this occasion. I was laughed at in the office when I expressed my disappointment and I was scoffed at down the phone when she’d called my number by accident. Any other adverts they had for any other flats I ignored, regardless of how nice the flat was, I found every way I could to avoid this company to stop further disappointment.

FacebookGoodman & Lilley have to be the most friendly and helpful estate agents that we have ever come across. We sold our house with dual agents G&L being one of them. The offer we accepted was through the other agents but the whole thing went totally wrong (thanks to the other estate agents). When G&L found out they did everything they could to help us, their help stopped the whole sale falling apart. Goodman and Lilley are an example to their profession, they really do care about their customer and we can’t recommend them highly enough. Thank you to all the staff there

GoogleI recently sold my flat with Goodman and Lilley and they were excellent! They were constantly on the ball and kept the process moving in the right direction. Nicola especially with amazing- I'm not sure we would have got things over the line without her. I'd have no doubts to use their services again for any future moves- highly recommended!
