I recently had my bins stolen, for the fourth time, I spoke to Lisa from incommunities and she said she would help to sort it out, the next morning after speaking with Lisa, two very nice men turned up at my door and went to retrieve my bins, someone took them over to park and threw them down over the hill,it took them five minutes to get them and bring them back for me,I'm truly grateful for everyone's help and I thank you all so much 😀👍✌️

Increase from £142 pw to £187 pw!!!!!

Service charges went up over DOUBLE to leave my weekly charges at £187.50 for a s**tty flat in a s**tty rundown high-rise. Heroin addicted neighbour got literally suspended from his outside window on the 6th floor by his drug dealer, there was urinating in communal areas, constant source of chaos, Incommunities did nothing. I was told as Im not on benefits they cant relook at the rent increase from £142 a week to £187 I just have to pay. They do absolutely NOTHING to support tenants who actually work. Ruth House is an absolute HOLE, filthy, full of litter everywhere inside and out, dumpsters left overflowing and they want £187 a week!!!! I managed to find somewhere else (much nicer for £100 a week obviously with a different housing association) or they would have made me homeless. I had heating in both bedrooms that never worked for two years, an extractor that never worked in the bathroom from the day I moved in, repeatedly reported, nothing ever done. They are disinterested, profiteering rogues. Ruth House especially is a dump and not worth almost £200 a week for the "privilege" of living in that s**thole. KEEP AWAY FROM INCOMMUNITIES

My boiler was leaking water

My boiler was leaking water, they told me to contact national grid to make sure there was no gas leak (which national grid came out quickly). There was no gas leak but they informed me my boiler and gas was unsafe to use so they capped it off. Contacted out of hours repair from incommunities again for someone to come out and fix the boiler as I have 4 children including an 11month old and a disabled child, they then proceeded to tell me it would be within 24hrs and upto 20:30pm on an evening which is wild as this would disregulate my disabled child and he has school the next day but as normal the have zero cares in the world about this and basically told me they couldn’t bring the time forward (2hours) that was all I was asking for them not to come after 18:00pm on an evening as this is when I get my disabled child and baby calmed down and ready for there bedtime routine. There is no care or consideration for people’s circumstances and what effect this has on children. I was asking for it done immediately even though it’s freezing just for them to take into consideration that my children have routines and bringing my disabled child out of his routine will cause him not to sleep.

I was living in a nightmare where…

I was living in a nightmare where neighbour below me and his surrounding gang of neighbours were physically and verbally abusive from moment I moved in to the day I left stating I was to posh because I tended to garden and had new car and complained about the noise, weed smoking and damaging my garden in spite. Ive had my car vandalised fencing ripped down hit over head with a bar. At first Incommunities took interest with even one of the senior housing officers viewing my cctv saying worst she’s ever seen in the 15 years of job and it’s criminal not just anti social. Police were useless even with cctv of criminal damage, threats and assault. Was promised the ring leader was going to be served an eviction order but to this day what I can gather he’s still there. The main anti social officer was in constant contact with me about the main offender and was disgusted with his higher up boss and Incommunities as a whole. In end he got them to offer an emergency move with promise of cost for removal, compensation of the money I spent (£1000) carpeting and promise as soon as I left proceeding with eviction of neighbour. Non of them promises came to fruition and I was left out of pocket and feeling like they took the easy option instead of protecting the victim. Oh and I forgot to mention police and Incommunities strongly advised me not to live in property until they finally offered me a emergency move, so for 6 months out of the year I was there I only visited to collect post and even when I did that my car was subject to eggs and threats and abuse. All in all the flat they moved me to is no where near as spacious or up to the standard of where I moved from. Incommunities has has a nerve to have a cut out slogan in their main reception that states and I’m generalising here as can’t fully remember “here to serve and make you feel safe in your home” I pointed this out to Neil Powel the anti social officer and he agreed and all he could do was apologise for the mental and physical torture I was left to deal with alone. Tbf Neil was the only one who pushed and fought my corner but was blocked at numerous turns, the guy even helped me pack in his own time and came to visit me to see how I was settling in again in his own time and I’m grateful for his empathy. I wish I had of contacted my mp and highlighted all the failures and neglect Incommunities and police did but mentally I was exhausted.

I cant thank incommunities enough.I dont review much, but incommunities helped me in my very low time, Their housing officer at incommunties Shipley, provided the best customer services was very patient and gave me the house keys in no time. Told me everything where I need to call once I move, to keep it the house move a breeze. House was fully carpeted and clean. Minor things we can do ourselves as tenants. Things sometimes do take little bit time but if we are patient things do happen. I have letted with Private letting agents in the past. I can tell you for sure. They even charge you for even a minute mark anywhere on their property and try to increase the rent every 6 months and threaten you of section 21 only all the time even if you pay the rent on time. As I said not everything is perfect be patient and things will happen. A massive shoutout to incommunities Shipley ! You are quite good, keep on doing the good job of helping people out in the community. Regards Syed

UPDATE UPDATE INCOMMUNITIES HAVE GIVEN ME AND MY DAD THE CHANCE OF A PROPERTY IN DERRY LANE MENSTON. WHEN I VIEWED THE PROPERTY THE REAR GARDEN WAS A COMPLTET AND UTTER MESS BUT I GOT TOLD THAT IT WOULD BE DONE BEFORE WE MOVE IN. WELL IM SUPPOSED TO SIGN FOR THE PROPERTY ON WEDNESDAY THE 11TH SO I DECIDED TO GO AND CHECK ON THE GARDENS. THE FRONT GARDEN AS BEEN DONE IN A SORT OF WAY ALL THEY HAVE DONE IS STRIMMED IT BUT LEFT ALL THE UNCUT GRASS THERE. THE REAR GARDEN IS STILL A MESS AS THERE IS SAND EVERYWHERE,SOCKS, PLASTIC CUPS AND THE REMAINS OF A FIRE WHAT THEY HAVE HAD THERE. IVE DECIDED I WILL STILL SIGN FOR THE PROPERTY BUT WILL NOT BE MOVING IN UNTIL THE REAR GARDEN AS BEEN DONE. SEE THE ATTACHED PHOTOS I'm a tenant in crossflats and reported raw sewage coming in through my shower. They classed it as an emergency repair (as ive got my 90 year old farther living with whos got heart failure) and said someone will be out, that was at 1730!! . I called up agian at 2016 and had to go through all the details agian and they said someone will be out. It's now 2226 and still nothing and toilet is now overflowing. On the phone agian just now Extremely poor service They just don't care about there tennets w

I have only been residing in my property for a month and have experienced ongoing issues with the boiler for several weeks. This past weekend, the situation deteriorated significantly, leaving me without hot water or heating throughout the weekend. When I contacted the out-of-hours service, I was advised to call back on the next working day to speak with the head office. Given that I have a three-month-old baby in the property, it is evident that they do not prioritise emergencies appropriately. Disappointed is an understatement!

InCommunities removed the fence on my house 10 years ago and put up a wooden fence (wooden and with no post crete) because they have housing on the other side. I have no idea why they did this but now, 10 years on, the rubbish fence has fallen down and they have told me they won't talk to me unless I get legal counsel! There is now a half fallen down fence posing a health and safety hazard, in my garden, which I havent been able to use. I imagine it's just as bad for the InCommunities residents who live on the other side as it's their fence as well that's in pieces. No accountability and terrible attitude not replying for months on end despite my repeated polite calls and emails.

They don't care less about real safety issues. They're always going on about regulations and things that don't really matter. My mother in law is almost 90 and can't go out her 1st floor flat because there is no working lights. It has been reported many times, many times to the CEO but still nothing has been done. She also can't have a key to her fuse box/ meter cupboard so has to rely on calling them out if s fuse is tripped. Obviously she would have to wait a very, long time if it did trip. I have had to get my MP to try to sort it out. Below are 2 photos. The 1st is what you see on her stairs in the dark. The 2nd is what you see on the stairs with a torch. Disgraceful!

Incommunities took over Sadeh Lok in Sheffield. In the 2 some years I have been here, there has been so much anti social behaviour. I have never seen so many Police cars. Tenants are Home intruders that steal your property, Tenants who stink your house out with the vile smell of Drugs , tenants that steal vehicles, get locked up then come back to worry others, tenants that have deadly weapons, tenants that abuse the benefit systems the list goes on and theres no vetting of these tenants but they get told by Incommunities Housing staff things are fine. The properties are mixed with home owners (in a fantastic area of Sheffield,) that have sold up and moved because the area is now vile. Pointless reporting to the Housing officer (useless) more concerned about being a labour councillor for Bradford and being a "Peeping Tom " Keep an eye on your rent account too, money goes missing and further lies are told. I am told Incommunities are still learning however, if you persist in this manner your reputation will end in tatters, you are fast becoming known for employing liars as staff who discriminate, not communicating with tenants and leaving the enquiries staff to carry out what the top brass are paid to do. Please feel free to pass this review to the Association, hiding this review would be detrimental to future tenants. Avoid a tenancy with this company like you would avoid the plague. There is no clause in my tenancy agreement that states I can not contact the tabloids, to write a newspaper article on this Associations unprofessional inadequacies. Incommunities, I would give you back the house tomorrow, GIFT WRAPPED, if I had elsewhere to go. Had to give one star otherwise I could not proceed, you deserve none in my opinion.

Landlord Harassment

Landlord Harassment, as a person that is aware of my rights as a tenant. Challenging decisions made with evidence to support my claims , is called evidence gathering. Sensor cameras does not mean 24/7 surveillance, it means someone has come close to my camera to have triggered it. Educate yourselves on sensor cameras, it may prove to be highly relevant in legal proceedings. You have seen what my camera has seen. you are aware my camera DO NOT, invade privacy of my neighbour and is not pointing directly at their home. Your warning letter is a retaliatory act to ‘silence me’. Your bullying behaviour and Conduct has now turned into Landlord harassment, Your revenge from my complaint to HOS could not be clearer. My contact with the TRO and RSH is showing the regulators what kind of association you are. This review is purely for the public to read my opinion and it is, in their best interest to thoroughly investigate this Social Housing Landlord before signing a tenancy agreement. There are regulators out there to contact before you leave your home voluntarily .Bullying landlords push you to leave over their lack of support. You have rights as a tenant, seek them out . Go to the CAB , TRO and Report their failures to the RSH, and HOS . In my case this Association has not adhered to their responsibilities that are written in my contract . The law is that after a formal warning letter, they can go for a section 8 Ground 14. This is a discretionary eviction, I have an abundance of evidence to contradict them in legal proceedings, I have logged and kept every correspondence between us. This review is not to incite, or encourage the public , it is my personal opinion on the Social Housing Landlord and my own experience with them as my Landlord.

Interference from Beverley Housing Manager

I am writing this review about Beverley the Housing Manager, in Great Britain, because of her interference with my doctors and having to change my doctors I am now getting my medication later than I should be and am in pain. Hope she is happy now but she will be to busy helping the controller at 30 Yewdall Way to bother about my health conditions just like Incommunities all they bothered about is money.

House is in disrepair and don't log jobs properly they send someone out to look at the job and never do any work . The company itself are struggling to keep staff and leaving tenants feeling unsafe in unfit houses. Something needs to be done and money needs to be invested in the properties they currently have instead of building houses they can sell for a profit so the big dogs can live in luxury. We all pay rent so why are houses left in disrepair

So here we go, finally at mothers (aged 87) having lived in her rented home since 1957, you decide to do some repairs, firstly months before Christmas you remove the gas fire in the front room as it’s deemed unsafe? Not replaced with new? Why Not? The fireplace partially stripped of tiles at the time is the same today as I post this? Recently, it’s decided you are going to work on the roof and erect scaffolding? Last night (Tuesday) returning from a job in Doncaster, yes I’m a service engineer for over 40 years, who is well aware what providing a real service involves, gets a phone call from mother to say her heating has failed? Thinking I’ll pop by and top up the water pressure as I’ve done for some years now as the seemingly inept engineers you employ to service the heating system seem to be eluded to the problem? Upshot is, boiler wouldn’t reset, further checks found that outside they had been sandblasting the mortar brickwork and not only was the next doors covered in sand, so was mothers garden and most importantly, big schoolboy error! It had choked the flue and boiler up with sand causing it to fail? I called the “Helpline” this morning (Wednesday)to be told I’m not on the “third party” list? and explained the situation. Mother rang me sometime later to say that an engineer would be with her tomorrow morning at which point I rang the helpline back to be told there was not an engineer available? I informed her I could get one immediately and offered to invoice them which they declined as you’d expect? So, we have 2 ladies in a property aged 87 and 78, one on the brink of dementia and the other with learning difficulties and an impending well publicised cold spell with no heating and you don’t send anyone in the day? If there is not an engineer on site by 10am today, this matter will be taken a lot further, your service is downright shocking that you do not prioritise vulnerable customers, particularly when the issue has been caused by your ineptitude in carrying out any kind of works without it turning into some kind of chuckle brothers side show? Get a grip on your procedures before you kill somebody because as a service, your plainly not fit for purpose as a service provider? Tick, Tock..🤔 I await your apologies and a response both on site and from your management. Thank you.

Review: I reported a repair and it I must to wait one month. Joke . Incommunities repairs delays are due to “short staff,” yet their annual income is around £125 million. It’s unacceptable that tenants have to wait this long for basic repairs while the association has plenty of resources. Communication has been poor, and the delay is causing unnecessary stress. Very disappointed.

I have been waiting from last year for the trees to be removed because it's on the fence. Many storms and windy conditions has made it more dangerous. Same response extremely busy even in Summer. The problem is if it goes down the next door neighbour garage will get direct hit. I am not going to be responsible for anyone getting hurt because of this delay. Plus, my garden project is on hold because of this privatised incompetent landlords.

I am absolutely appalled with what’s gone on today, I’ve read the reviews and can obviously see I am not the only one disappointed, staff over the phone are ill mannered and very ignorant they cut off somebody justifying themselves about a situation and also let them know that if they don’t stop talking to them like that “I won’t book the job” when no raised voices were involved or in fact any form of abuse was involved and assume it’s them being rude when really they are ones giving the attitude and the rudeness, honestly they do not care about their tenants at all by the looks of it, absolutely disgraceful. Clearly this company needs basic training on manners and well doing their jobs too.

The most incompetent organisation I've ever had the displeasure of having to deal with. Absolutely no way the staff have been trained, proof of this is clear for all to see in how different staff will give you different information about the same issue. So far I've spoken to Saj, Fiaz and Lanette. At the end of each call i recieved apologies and assurances that i would hear from somebody in planning (by the way they can only contact planning via email). The job that was booked in for the 6th of June is marked as 'complete'. It hasn't been started yet, nobody has given me an explanation as to why the contractor marked it down as 'complete' when he came out on the 4th and the job was booked in for the 6th. (It's an external job lol, he could, still have done it despite coming two days early). I explained all of the above to these three customer service geniuses. Each one gave me a different load of utter nonsense and then ended with promises of somebody in planning getting back to me. What are the landlords, council or private, paying these guys for? Anyway spoke to Michelle this morning, apparently now it's an official complaint, someone will contact me within two working days to acknowledge it, very likely, withing ten days it will be resolved, even more likely lol. Look out for my update next week, in the mean time try to avoid dealing with incommunities at all costs. Keep a record of all of your emails and phone calls to them and maybe stop paying rent if you are treated in a similar fashion. Would love to speak to the actual owners of the property.
