It seems if you're buying or selling a property they're lovely people but if you're renting with them, you are just trash. From the get go, they have been awful and foul towards me. Morning of signing a lease, we had a lovely (and recorded) phone call from lynne stating how she didn't want us to have the property and she wanted to put it on the market for more but we HAD to thank the landlord because she wanted us to have it. Now that same afternoon when we went in to sign everything, she decided to sit their and mock us asking if we could even afford it. I offered to show her that we had the money. Now down the line during inspection we had Beth who REFUSED to acknowledge me when I spoke or whenever I pointed out any issues with the house. She would only address or email my partner, I did confront her about this and questioned whether they actually put me on the tenancy agreement. Every issue I pointed out I was met me "I'll get a professional to look at it" obviously that never happened.

I always felt that I was in good hands and that my interests were being well served. I was particularly impressed when my usual contact was on holiday and the agents for the people I was buying from raised a lot of awkward queries. Charlotte took over the matter temporarily and dealt with the questions very professionally and effectively. Docking one star because as always I dislike charges based on value of property rather than actual work done but this firm was at least the cheapest of the high street agents in Dorchester.

Special mention to Chloe, my main point of contact who was professional and tenacious at finding solutions and answers to expedite my purchase as quickly as possible, but also thanks to Miranda and Alison who ensured that any enquiries I had were addressed promptly. GoogleThe Sherborne branch of GTH provided a superb service from start to finish. Richard visited and seemed generally enthusiastic about our house and the prospects for a sale. He compared it to others in the local area and these were appropriate and relevant. The quoted value was more than that suggested by two local competitors but we still realised more than this when it sold. The commission was less than quoted by others which was not why we chose GTH but was welcome. They arranged the EPC and photographs and produced an excellent glossy brochure describing the property. I'm not sure of the distribution of the marketing but we had six visits arranged by Chloe and Miranda within a few days and accepted an offer within a week. Then the problems started with a delay in the survey and search. During this time we mostly dealt with Chloe who was superb. She helped us deal with our buyers and was always fighting our corner. We couldn't ask for anymore. We would thoroughly recommend the Sherborne branch of Greenslade Taylor Hunt to anyone looking to sell in that area.

Put on house on the market with the company in September we had Chloe to come out and when through everything with us as we didn’t have a clue she was so good and very professional , we then started working along Alice she was absolutely marvellous with the understanding with viewings as my mum very concerned regarding her cats , she kept us in the loop weekly/daily all I can say it the South Molton office staff are all fantastic and thank you all for your help and support

We approached GTH to sell our house after a previously unsuccessful attempt. The local manager Ollie provided a very sensible valuation. Upon listing, the viewings were carried out professionally manner, eventually securing a buyer in what has been a challenging market. We became part of a chain of 13 houses and 14 vendors, ( a company record) a potential nightmare. However careful management of the chain by Ollie and another agent resulted in completion 4months after we found the buyer. I am certain that this was in no doubt part due to the strenuous efforts of GTH staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
