Andy made me feel thoroughly informed and at ease with the sales process, and I believe valued my property very fairly and gave sound advise in regards to the sale. Both Andy and Caroline kept me well informed throughout the process, and the online portal was a great added extra. GoogleDo not get involved with theese "COWBOYS" in particular Andy. They consistently trick and scam you out of your hard earned money. Moving house is a stressful and nerve-wracking time and the last thing anyone needs is a scamming money grabbing estate agent to market your home; or purchase from. There are plenty of other agents around and I would heavily encourage you to check them out before getting involved with theese Jokers. Don't be scammed like me get a proper man for the straightforward job.

GoogleI cannot recommend Caroline and Kerry enough, after an unprecedented set of circumstances unrelated to whitehornes caused a traumatic move that left us homeless for 2 days, the two of them did everything they could to ease the pain. Communications were exemplary, being straight forward honest and open at all times. When things go wrong a companies ethos to their customers is exposed and Whitehornes has demonstrated incredible customer service going above and beyond. I will never recommend anyone other than whitehornes.

We'd often rely on Leah and the Whitehornes team to find out where things were up to as their responsiveness was brilliant. The costs were competitive and we'd happy work with them again.

GoogleThis was a difficult move and a cash buyer below and empty house above but took 14 weeks!Being totally honest we thought everyone was too slow after the stamp duty was extended although we found out it was our seller and their solicitor who was holding the whole process up!Whitehornes sold our last house and were amazing so we went to them again as Andy has sold 3 of our houses now!Kerry was the main person for me who moved this whole process along and up against a very difficult seller and his solicitor who could learn something from her.Caroline was also good too.Ian helped us a lot too so thank you to him!We are settled now and love our new house so worth some stress!PositiveProfessionalism

FacebookWe sold my late mums house as the executor initially we had a buyer going in with a high offer we were nervous of his intentions but took a chance on him he put barriers in place all the way along and we did everything he asked unfortunately he waited till almost exchange and completion and reduced his offer by £30,000 we declined and put the house back on the market it sold quickly in a couple of days to a cash buyer with no chain this in our eyes is where things started to go wrong as this lady did slow time quite a while it was then brought to our attention she did in fact have her house on the market which her solicitor had advised her to wait for we then began to push for exchange and completion as we were in our 7 th month of selling the house and this had been put to us as a CASH buyer as soon as I started to push I was then very rudely told by the negotiator Kerry to back off the buyer and give her some space which I found unacceptable as we were in the 4 th month with this actual buyer We felt as though Kerry was actually working for the buyer not us !! Kerry started to never be available when I rang for updates she stopped returning calls we then had to go through our solicitor to push for completion as Kerry seemed quite happy to sit back asking us to give the lady the keys for 2 weeks whilst she decorated the house which we could not understand why as surely this is something that you do when the house is actually yours ! At the end in our eyes Kerry stopped working for us although clearly we were paying their bill not the buyer ! We were told this appeared to be a trend of the sales negotiator being on the side of the buyer !! Completely unprofessional ! Kerry has also passed the number of tradesmen of whitehornes into the buyer which we felt inappropriate ! When we had a completion date I was coldly told by Kerry go and put the keys through the letterbox with no regard to the fact that house had been out home from the 1970s when our parents bought it ! When I said it would have been nice to go and hand the keys over in person and meet the buyer to wish her well I was very cold told no sorry clearly Kerry was on the side of the buyer for some reason ! Kerry ended this sale on a very sour note and we would never recommend this estate agent !

GoogleWe sold through Whitehornes last week but I’m not sure they even know. Sales progression has been awful. Our previous agent left and handover has been terrible. We’ve done all of the negotiations over the last few weeks with the vendors agent and solicitors and our buyer ourselves. I’ve called several times for help on pretty standard progression requests but received nothing back just the odd promise that someone would call back. On the occasions I did speak to our “new” agent they were dismissive and rude . I’ve received absolutely nothing to acknowledge the exchange or completion, even the vendor’s agent rang me to congratulate us on completion day but not even a cursory email from Whitehornes. I would not recommend.NegativeResponsiveness

GoogleWe had considered moving 8 years ago and had asked Whitehornes for a valuation at that time and were impressed with their approach then so they were first on our list of agents to consider this time. The same valuer came out to our home and remembered his last visit, he recognised the features which make our property unique, explaining how they would look to sell our home and their fee structure. Our neighbour wisely said to remember the valuer is not the person who works to sell your home and said to visit the offices of the agents we had shortlisted, this was such good advice! Whitehornes office on Bannercross sits in a very prominent position on the parade and when you step through the door the welcome you receive is second to none and the atmosphere is buzzy. Everyone is approachable, interested and willing to help. We took Whitehornes advice on the best way to market our property and let them do their job. They conducted nearly 30 viewings over a period of two and a half weeks and we went to best and final offers and sold, subject to contract, 3 weeks after putting the property on the market. The team at Whitehornes provided great support on the journey to exchange and liaised with our buyers and both solicitors making the journey to exchange as stress free as possible. We cannot recommend this company highly enough, a huge thank you to everyone involved at Whitehornes.
