Recently bought our first home and SK were selling the property we've now moved into. At every step we found them courteous, professional and above all proactive in updating ourselves and keeping the sale moving. As first-time buyers we didn't know what to expect and SK were brilliant at sharing information and supporting both us and the vendors with any queries. We didn't feel that we had the most proactive of solicitors(!) but SK made sure we know what was happening and helped us to keep moving. Steven and the team were brilliant but special thanks to Sarah who was incredibly proactive and responsive. Sk recently sold our house. We were really impressed with the care, attention to detail and overall professionalism of this local estate agents. We had a buyer for our house after just 3 weeks on the market, very good for a 5 bedroomed house! Steven, Sarah, Alex and the team absorbed much of the stress of moving with their helpfulness and good communication. Sarah’s pro active approach with the progression of the sale meant that things were kept moving at all times and everyone in the process was kept informed. This is not an estate agency that talks the talk with boasts and empty promises, however they merely do what they say they are going to do and Steven will go the extra mile to reassure. Everything is executed with honesty and transparency. I would highly recommend anyone to try SK estate agents if they are thinking of moving house. With a clear selling fee and no ambiguity about costs everything about SK Estate agents is impressive. Thank you for everything.

I started to use SK Estate Agents to let my properties when the agency opened. I have stayed with them because they are excellent at what they do. Steven and his staff are efficient, easy to deal with and were very helpful when I needed to deal with an unexpected issue that wasn't in their remit. My most recent letting was in September, as usual they found me a tenant within days, they sorted all the paperwork and referencing and my tenant moved in within 2 weeks.

Fantastic company. They handled the rental of 3 houses for us - very thorough tenant vetting - never had any missed rent payments, and houses all left in very good condition. They also have a network of tradesmen that respond quickly and at a reasonable price to address any problems. We really wouldn't use anyone else now. They were significantly cheaper than the national estate agent we had used previously and their knowledge of the local market was much better. When we decided to sell, we used SK agents again - excellent service.

I used SK Estates when I rented out my house when I went overseas. I was impressed by their service, and they were slightly cheaper than other agencies. Also being a local agency they were less corporate in their approach. I dealt with Stephen Kontou and one or 2 of his staff and found them all to be responsive and effective, they did what they said they would do. They also seemed to have sensitivity towards the tenants and not just see them as a source of income. Some examples of what they did was provide a gas engineer who could do the Gas Safety check more cheaply than I could have found myself, they carried out 3-monthly inspections of the property effectively, they responded to my emails promptly (which was very important as I was overseas), and they turned up for appointments at the set time. So from my experience I would definitely recommend the agency.

I cannot begin to praise the team enough! Steven, Sarah, Mario and the rest of the team have been there every step of the way. I never got the impression that it was too much trouble and they always followed things up for me. Very professional personal service and I would recommend these guys all day long. The rates are very reasonable as well. Steven is very knowledgeable and Sarah is great on the legal side so you can trust in a good service.

SK Estate agents have been a delight to deal with. We were anxious first time buyers and from the moment we nervously put our offer in to the day we picked up our keys all members of staff have been helpful, kind and supportive. Sarah in particular was really on the ball and really helped to drive our purchase forward and kept us up to date with all developments. Stephen and Mario were also really great. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and whilst we don't plan to sell our lovely house for a fair few years I am quite sure we'll be back to SK when the time comes. A great service and lovely to deal with an honest, local, independent firm - you made our first purchase hassle free!

We bought our house through Steven and team at SK estate agents and they provided an absolutely excellent service, I couldn't recommend them highly enough! Always fantastic at keeping us in the loop, and went completely above and beyond when our buyer's solicitors (Convey Law) really nearly caused the whole thing to fall through! We will defiantly use these guys if we think of selling in the future - they are incredibly reasonably priced considering the level of service and commitment you get from them. Brilliant!

I would have no hesitation recommending SK Estate Agents to anyone selling their house. Steven and Sarah came to do the initial valuation and take photos for the listing, including a virtual tour, which gives potential buyers a 360 degree view of every room in your home (we found this sorely lacking from many other estate agents listings when searching for a property). They handled all the viewings, and we found a buyer for our property within the first week. Unfortunately it took us a lot longer to find a property, but Jamie checked in regularly and kept us updated on progress. We felt like we were in safe hands throughout the entire process. Highly recommended.

I would not recommend SK Estate Agents to anyone looking for a rental property. They have a very poor phone service that does not allow you to speak to a real person or arrange a viewing. One of their agents called me and left a message asking me to call back, but when I did, I only got an automated message telling me to submit a request on their website. This was very frustrating and unprofessional. I wasted a lot of time and energy trying to contact them, but they never got back to me. They clearly do not care about their potential customers or their reputation.

The team at SK went above and beyond to get my sale pushed through before Christmas. Communication was excellent. The chain involved the most incompetent solicitor you could possibly imagine. Sarah dealt with the problematic parties professionally and efficiently allowing for completion on the target date. I would without a doubt use SK again without question.
