GoogleVery poor at dealing with stress from our buyer. They didn't seem to understand her or what she needed to hear, and made everything worse by being aggressive and dismissive with me and the buyer, and adding stress to the process. Buyer stopped talking to estate agents and spoke to us as vendors directly instead, which was much better for making sure the sale happened. Some of them at the local offices were more thoughtful and professional, so I don't know why the company thought the service from the rest of them was good for business.

GooglePut an offer on a house we loved which they have for sale (a semi on Ferriby Road), and the agents were REALLY difficult. We put in a realistic offer considering how dated the house was, and in comparison to other houses on the market in the area, and that we were told the we were the only people to put in an offer. The offer was rejected, which is fine. However, in the next few weeks, my partner and I have been told conflicting information from the agents whenever we rang up, I was told no other people had put offers in, my partner was told people had. I was told I’d be called back with any updates, they never called back. I asked them what the owners would be willing to sell for (we were able to raise the price if other people put in offers), and they refused to tell me. It led to us withdrawing our offer, because it was causing us that much of a headache and stress. This has been going on for 3, nearly 4 weeks. The next day I see the house has been readvertised at a lower amount (the one we offered). What? Are they actively trying not to sell this house? Surely this would put anyone off buying? My partner said there was a woman he spoke to who was also very rude and blunt.
