I’ve just recently used Saxton Mee (Crookes) to buy a property locally. It was a slightly stressful moving process as it often can be. Very poor at dealing with stress from our buyer. They didn't seem to understand her or what she needed to hear, and made everything worse by being aggressive and dismissive with me and the buyer, and adding stress to the process. Buyer stopped talking to estate agents and spoke to us as vendors directly instead, which was much better for making sure the sale happened. Some of them at the local offices were more thoughtful and professional, so I don't know why the company thought the service from the rest of them was good for business. You may be signed up to one office, but the staff dealing with you work across multiple offices. Saxton Mee branches are separate limited companies, like McDonald's franchises are separate limited companies, but they are one company with one brand and the same problems across branches, in my experience.

I simply cannot recommend Saxton Mee-Crookes estate agents enough. Not only were they extremely knowledgeable, the were realistic with their pricing, totally set my expectations of the market whilst being mindful of my views. The property we are selling is as a result of bereavement and also in a different country to us which makes the logistics a nightmare but there has been nothing that we have thrown at Saxton Mee-Crookes that they have not been able to overcome and resolve for us, and this includes making a hole ridden roof seem like a small issue. Our property went to best and final bids within 5 days of being on the market and fingers crossed will complete soon, making this a smooth transaction all round. I am positive that Tina Turner's " simply the best" was sung about you guys. Your whole team is fantastic, professional and timely on everything that they do.
