Chose to live with MAF in my final year at uni, i wish i found them earlier! I much prefered living in these apartments rather than houses or halls as everything is so much more modern, locations are much better and you have everything you need. The kitchen has washer which is also a dryer and a dishwasher which i thought was essential! The staff are so helpful and lovely and are quick to respond to any quiery you have!

I would recommend MAF properties to anyone looking for a beautiful place to call home in Sheffield. Student friendly. After three years living in Sheffield I had never come across such a clean and nice house. The price wasn’t higher than other properties I lived in or visited but it was for sure the best one! The walls were freshly painted when we moved in and the house was so clean! MAF have been great with any issues we’ve had in the house and would come help us straight away. They have a super friendly team and are always here to help. Thank you for making my student experience here so great! I have great memories in their property and it’s going to be hard to leave! Best landlords in town!

Lived In their student accommodation for a year, in the initial inventory and inspection there was a mattress cover on my mattress, the mattress had a stain on which I am 100% sure was from a previous tenant, then bullied into paying this with threats of court and threats to charge my friends living there instead of me which would obviously raise tensions between me and friends I've made, so been forced to give in and pay. On top of this their organisation is non existent with inspections and viewings being frequently changes last minute, I would strongly advise against living here, much better places to live out there.

Lovely modern houses beautifully decorated, however it is let down by the staff with MAF properties. The landlord is rude when it comes to dealing with issues and there are often additional costs for simple, inconvenient decorations. An example of this would be blutac on the wall coming in at a fine of £50 per wall, a loss of manual is £100, and if you are locked out the house they charge you £50 to come and let you in etc. In addition to this we were mislead to believe we could use the balcony when shown the property however we were disappointed to soon learn we could not. MAF supply the internet however on the top floor it is un connectable. In addition to this MAF will not let us get sky TV as you cannot get a satellite dish as it would 'damage the brick work' furthermore, once getting the manual we were soon to find out that parties were forbidden which was in the contract we signed. I find MAF completely took advantage of the fact we were students when we signed the contract by not highlighting many conditions within the contract.

Worst place I have ever lived, the property may be better looking inside and out, compared to other student houses however the actual quality of everything in the house is shocking. Since we moved in the boiler has been consistently loosing pressure, meaning heating and hot water rarely work when you want/ need them too. Maintenance must come round weekly (another indication of how bad things are) to "fix" it and by the time they've walked out of the door the pressure has already gone. In the first floor bathroom you are lucky to get running hot water after about 20 minutes or 100 attempts of turning the shower on and off. This obviously then runs up our water bill by about £20 a month, which isn't covered by the excessive rent they demand (before you have your student loans). The sofas in the lounge are easily the most uncomfortable thing you could possibly sit on which is why most of our house sit on the floor on bean bags or on the table. After living here for 5 months they have finally fixed the wifi, after months of complaining to only get the response that basically "no one else has complained so were not doing anything" which is really useful for a house full of third year students. In one of our bedrooms someone was charged £50 for putting pins in there wall, even though all the bedrooms have holes from previous tenants that were meant to be filled before we moved in... A pin hole, about half a millimetre.. £50. But they fix the wifi an leave 2 big holes about 4 inches in height and width outside my bedroom... The shower on the top floor is about as powerful as a fairy blowing water on you, also really useful for 6 girls with long hair. The smell of sewage lingers on the top floor because of the bathroom, which is still yet to be fixed. Finally when they say you will have a new bed when you move in, expect a broken bed, broken springs, dirty mattresses, a double size bed frame and a medium mattress. They will email constantly about inspections, which are completely pointless as the only thing they need to inspect is how bad everything in the house is. Maybe if you look after your property first then we will look after it in turn. Thanks. Everyone at 17 Broom Street.

Managed to finally sort our house for next year. We are really excited we have beef lots of houses with other landlords but was very disappointed for example basement rooms. Our house for next year is amazing and everyone's room size is similar so we are all very happy. The staff are real friendly and spent the full afternoon with us we did not feel rushed or pressured to make any decisions unlike other letting agency that put pressure on you to make a decision and it all gets a little awkward. Thanks Maf for making it that easy to find our new place - great service can't wait to move in !!

Just about to start my second year and move into 99 William Street, Have to say the house is amazing having spent a few nights there over summer and the Estate agents have been very informative and very nice. The website looks very nice looks modern and keeps the same theme as the old website which is nice to see. I would highly recommend MAF properties to any student looking for housing as they are a very reliable option for people looking for accommodation with friends in Sheffield.

We have recently moved into our property with MAF and chose it for its excellent location to University and Sheffield town centre. The house is clean, furnished well with good appliances and decoration. We have also hugely appreciated, as nursing students, being able to live in the property over summer as we are still in university and on placement. We have found MAF staff to be friendly, helpful and approachable and any requests we have made have been dealt with. We are glad we chose MAF properties and would recommend them to other students.

We have moved into one of MAF’s properties houses this year with my friends, we are all really happy with the accommodation. The house was lovely and clean fitted with modern furniture in the bedrooms and lounge. The bathrooms and kitchen were also very spacious. The house itself has a nice feel to it and we all really enjoy living here. The staff at MAF properties are very reliable and always on hand to help whenever needed nothing is too much to ask. We will defiantly be continuing to stay with MAF properties next year and throughout our academic studies

I recently started living in one of MAF's high quality properties over summer due to my placement for university. I was expecting only the best from MAF as I looked at a few of their other properties prior to this one. I can honestly say there isn't a better place in Sheffield to live at the moment for this price. The apartment was spotless when we moved in and there was a genuine quality feel to not only the appliances and bedrooms, but the general building itself. On top of this high quality, the staff at MAF are also very helpful, and have been on hand to aid with any queries I have had whilst staying in the accommodation. I look forward to spending the remainder of my third year in this accommodation and having MAF as our landlords.

Living with MAF for my second year now. We were going to move out of our two bedroom Dev Point appartment but realised there is nothing we could replace it with which would be better at the same price. The guys in the office are brilliant and helped me sort out my council tax exemption certificate. Definitely a 5 out 5 and would recommend to any students wanting amazing accommodation and brilliant landlords.

I have recently moved into my flat owned by MAF and I cannot fault it. The place was spotless when I arrived which is very different to some student housing! The housing is well situated and I think well priced due to the quality of the decoration and furnishings. They are always helpful whenever I ring or pop in and any issues are quickly resolved.
