Although vexatious, thank you for your comments expressing your concerns with Letwise relating to the termination of your tenancy, damage to the property and the release of your bond. To reiterate and emphasise for clarity, your former landlords’ feel they had no option but to seek vacant possession of their property due to concerns regarding its treatment by you and your guests. In addition their decision to claim against your bond for cleaning and damage to the property at the end of your tenancy was not taken lightly and is based on the conclusions of inventory & exit condition assessment reports compiled by an APIP member company (Association of Professional Inventory Providers). Fully itemised repair and cleaning costs have been provided by local contractors, where applicable. Both parties may elect to seek resolution through independent arbitration in the event an agreement cannot reached. Please be reassured your bond will remain secured with the Deposit Protection Service until resolution.
