The whole experience was not only incredibly straight forward but the agents moved the paperwork on really quickly so I was able to move in very soon after viewing the flat. The team has been easy to contact and informative, as well as reassuring me that they'll provide help during the tenancy should I need. 5*

GoogleI used to let my flat through this agency. After a number of years of no issues they got sloppy. The last couple of tenants they got was not background checked properly. The last tenant vandalised my flat which cost me £2000 to sort out. Also I had to take legal action to evict the tenant which led to at least £800 in solicitors fees. If you are a landlord I would highly recommend NOT to go with this letting agency because once my flat was vandalised they washed their hands off it. I don't live in Scotland so travelling up takes 5-6 hours. Luckily I got in touch with Ross and Liddel who picked up the keys and refurbished the flat and are now successfully been letting it out for the past year.

GooglePlease think twice before using this company. My parent tried to sell their home after been advised to use this company but they were not able to sell for the standard value. If fact this company kept pressuring for the price to be lowered. Then once we asked for them to stop have pressured and threatened for the non payment of 660 during a pandemic and the money from 2 pensioners.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

The charges you are discussing seem to resemble the final marketing charge which becomes applicable at the time of withdrawing and is standard practice. GoogleI always use Slater Hogg for my developments. There may be slightly cheaper agents out there but the service they provide is second to none. The staff are all very friendly and approachable whilst still being extremely professional. Brooke in particular has always been a total star! Oh and Mark!! GoogleMore interested in trying to sell mortgages rather than properties it seems. Really poor service today I’m sorry to say.
Hi Barry, thank you for your review and feedback. As a busy estate agency with largely excellent customer feedback, we are disappointed with your comments though. It is correct that we will promote our in house mortgage service to potential customers and particularly to people who have no mortgage arrangements in place. For example, we would urge any potential buyer in an active housing market to have mortgage arrangements before trying to book in viewings as this puts them in a stronger position irrespective of whether they use our services or not and to be clear our customers are not obligated to use any of our in house services. Primarily though we are an estate agent and our job is to help people to sell their properties. We have an excellent record of achieving this for our selling clients and we have many buyers happy with the service we provide.
