aggressive pricing

aggressive sale prices. you price everything with desperation. I already what properties are advertised by wards. no regard to location, practicality, features that will require attention etc, they just slap a higher end price possible on it.They once tried to sell a house that had no central heating, hidden mould with pain, cracked windows and that would need a hell of a lot of work to renovate to bring up to date, for such a ridiculously high price and even too proud to negotiate, trying the odd tactic of 'there are a lot of interested parties, and they offered..., would you like to match the offer or go higher'They were unsuccessful through the summer and had to give up as it approached the autumn as buyers would start to notice and brought up the faults every time. sort your pricing out.

From the moment Jonathan came to provide a valuation until the moment Anouska saw my sale through to completion, Wards provided a 5 star service. There was constant communication throughout and Anouska went above and beyond to ensure the sale and my purchase were progressing. I've recently moved in property. The welcome gift is lovely. All moving process are so easy and smooth. The staff are professionals who know they job well and always supports whenever and wherever they offer they help. Especially, Prateek is the best, he has the most of the property knowledge. He goes for extra mile in his job. After office hours closed, he came to my flat to help me with my enquires. He responded and solved my all enquires. I highly recommend using this agency. I have contacted Ward's via listing details for more than 30 properties they have advertised and have yet to be contacted back. Calls were answered and I would be told that someone in letting would call me back as soon as they were available. Over 2 months and no calls were ever returned. In less than 5 days, using another agency, I had keys and was moving in to a new place.If you are on a time restraint when relocating, BEWARE of using this company.

Great experience

This is my first time to rent a property thru Wards. I am glad that my experience of renting was handled by Maria Byrne (Ramsgate Branch) from starting till the end of getting the key. She is so thoughtful, dedicated, be empathy, efficient in dealing problems that appeared in the rented property. Even though that was not her job scope, but she will still try to help me as she knew that English is not my first language and will try to understand me and convey the correct message to her colleague in the maintenance team.

I had the good fortune to have my tenancy managed by Tessa Daniels at Ward's Lettings, Strood. Having been unable to move into our property and having limited time to find a rental home, Tessa did everything possible to ensure a smooth move was accomplished. Tessa is a credit to her team, demonstrating professionalism and an ability to manage all parties (tenant, landlords, contractors) effectively. Tessa clearly in an experienced lettings agent and responds calmly to the challenges of her role. I would strongly recommend Tessa to anyone wishing to let or to rent via the Wards lettings team.

After the sale of the property l experienced a complete lack of communication and empathy from.the agent. Despite repeated attempts to get assistance. They failed to contact the seller after collecting their commission. Their handling of the situation was highly unprofessional showing no willingness to support or resolve outstanding issues. Overall the service provided was below expexmctation and l would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a a reliable and responsible agent.

Very grateful for the professional approach of the parent company, Wards/Arun Lettings as part of Arun Estate Agencies Ltd., particularly Kate in Horsham. Wards/Arun Estates inherited a very difficult situation following the previous agency's unsatisfactory management of both an initial tenancy and unwanted follow-on, neither monitoring dilapidations nor performing due diligence on new tenants. Kate managed the situation and obtained vacant possession in a professional and non-confrontational manner, which hopefully will enable us to restore a late parent's property to what it once was. We were in the process of buying a property from ward when the seller pulled out, this was not Ward's fault. This took 4 months and we were nearly at the exchange point. My problem with Ward was their unprofessional attitude, not responding to calls on time. They are not open and forthright.From the onset, l have a feeling something was not right but l couldn't pin point it. Be careful if you have to use them,make sure that things are clear to you from the onset. I won't be using them in the future.

Received a scamming letter today unsolicited…

Received a letter today unsolicited from Giles Warner who claims to be 'senior branch partner'. It starts "I noticed your property recently went on the market...."It has not gone on the market or even been discussed with any agent for several years. So the letter stars with a complete lie and follows up with an attempt to coerce us to ditch our imaginary current agent and appoint them. This is frankly scammer behaviour. So I looked them up with the regulatory bodies and protection schemes and found no reference to any of their multiple trading names.

Frankly the best Estate agents I have…

Frankly the best Estate agents I have dealt with.I conducted from overseas and from the first phone call to the end of the process (securing the flat), they were helpful, precise and thourough. Laura, who was my main contact, kept in touch regularly to keep me informed of how things were going, she sent me a video of the flat as I could not visit it in person and answered all my questions regardless of how trivial those were. I would highly recommend them to anyone in search of a flat in that area. Thank you so much to the Ward team and Laura in particular for supporting throughout the process which in my previous experiences have been rather stressful. Not this one though!!!
