Sydney from Mann Woolwich was our representative for house viewing. Sydney was very professional, patient and understanding towards us during our house viewing (for the third time). We took our own time to look around and she was really patient throughout the process.When we had queries about a few things inside the property she diligently checked with the sellers to keep us informed. Have just gone through a complete refurbishment and re-let of my property with the help of the team at Swanley Mann. As always their support and assistance has been invaluable in getting the work done and new tenants found, despite the limitations of the pandemic. I would not hesitate in recommending the Swanley team to any potential Landlords. Having had a change of contact at Mann , I am now being looked after by Julie Button. The transition has been transparent to us, obviously the handover has been well managed by Mann. A recent flood issue with my property has been excellently handled by Julie. We are moving through the process of remediation, Julie is handling all the Insurance claim details and keeping me informed of progress. While it's never fun having to sort out problems, Julie has made the whole process as stress free as it could be. As a first time landlord with no experience of the process, I was suitable impressed with the help and support I received from all at Mann in Swanley. Tim Knight was more than helpful guiding me through the process and all my dealings since (with Tim, Gary and Debbie) have led to a pain free "First Let". I look forward to thus continuing in the future.

Deeply Disappointing Experience, Strood Mann Sales and Letting Agents

Our experience with Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood has been deeply disappointing. As someone with experience in leadership, I can confidently say that the issues my family faced clearly stem from leadership, as the agency has failed to take accountability for their poor service. The signs were there from the very first calls and continued all the way through. Appointment punctuality and coordination were major issues from the beginning. Scheduled viewings were consistently delayed, leaving us in uncomfortable situations and forcing us to personally show prospective buyers around our property. This lack of punctuality and disregard for our concerns was unacceptable. This not only inconvenienced us but also left us feeling uncomfortable and vulnerable. Moreover, prospective buyers also expressed dissatisfaction with their poor experience e.g left waiting outside properties, unclear instructions and poor communication.Transparency regarding the terms of the sole agency contract was also lacking. Critical details, such as the length of the agreement, were not adequately discussed, leaving us feeling misled and questioning the integrity of the process.Furthermore, the advertising of our property on Rightmove and other platforms was subpar. We were left to request enhancements and updates, reflecting poorly on the agency's commitment to effective marketing.Despite our attempts to address these issues, the agency has refused to take responsibility and has closed ranks. Even after following the 'official' complaints process, they have refused to allow us to alter the length of the contract or even to move to a multi-agency agreement, which is a basic and straightforward solution that can easily be done and has been advised by other professionals in the industry.I strongly caution against entrusting your property sale to Mann Sales and Letting Agents Strood. Should you decide to proceed with them, heed this advice: never concede to a sole agency contract, demand meticulous attention to the advertising of your property, and scrutinise every detail of the contract, particularly its duration. I firmly advocate for a contract length of no more than 4 weeks or 28 days. Furthermore, be resolute in avoiding coercion into utilising their in-house financial services. Despite our repeated insistence on retaining our trusted brokers, Mann Co persistently pressured us until we were compelled to inquire whether our decision to use our own brokers would pose a problem, emphasising the importance of asserting your preferences firmly.Overall, our experience has been disappointing, and we hope our feedback prompts Mann Sales and Letting Agents to reassess their practices, processes, and procedures and strive for improvement in the future. Now, we find ourselves left to wait out the length of the contract as they refuse to alter it. As a family with two young children, aged 2 and 4, it's evident that our needs have been consistently overlooked and disregarded throughout this entire ordeal.

We had a very short timeline, were dealing with a guarantor, and were leasing sight unseen from the US. There were lots of emails, messages, phone calls, and a couple video calls. Emma and Alexia were patient, responsive, and and handled everything in order to get it all sorted out and get my daughter moved in to start her term at college. I know this had to be one of their more challenging move ins, but we were never made to feel like a problem. I had such a fantastic experience dealing with Mann estate agents in Swanley during the purchase of my new house. Throughout the duration I was looked after by Jayne Dillon, who I can't say enough good things about. Jayne went far above and beyond what she needed to do to help us complete our house purchase, and when things were looking difficult and the chain looked like it may collapse due to reasons outside of our control, Jayne played such a huge part in managing to keep things together, and ultimately keeping the chain alive. We were kept informed throughout the entire process, and I can't recommend Mann estate agents at Swanley any more highly.

Mann Countrywide have been outstanding throughout the whole journey of our recent purchase. Jayne at Swanley was great and effectively reduced the anxiety of our purchase and her recommendations ensured a seamless process. As recommended we used the Countrywide mortgage adviser, Tony helped ensure we got the most from our Mortgage and assisted us with everything from our mortgage in principle to insuring our home. We also used the countrywide solicitors who were extremely efficient, they were available over the weekend and even Christmas but this did mean we had to wait a lot for our sellers solicitor. Personally I can’t fault Mann Countrywide and they will be my first choice in the future

Worst estate agent (£1200 not refunded)

Worst estate agent, whole company is full of scam (its mortgage advice, solicitor panel). They have taken advance payment of £399 for solicitor search and £798 for mortgage for my potential buy. Later the seller pulled from process and I have asked for refund, but they are not refunding my money. This is worst company in the UK to deal with property, mortgage, solicitor panel.

We have had a very eventful year at our property, and were assigned a number of property managers in the beginning which was a bit of a headache, however when we were assigned Michelle Burchell as our property manager it was honestly the best thing for us. Not only was she super efficient in sorting out our issues (unfortunately there were a lot, which was no ones fault tbh, just pure bad luck with a burst pipe! ) but she always went above and beyond for us, always with our best interest at heart. We can not be thankful enough for all the hard work she has put in for us. Super understanding, fair, kind, and literally just a lovely lady. Not to mention she managed to negotiate us being allowed pets which has completely made our entire life! I would also like to mention Amy Cook who is also very efficient and extremely competent at her job, there had been a few things that was left to other people to deal with and when calling to follow it up and it hadn't been done Amy was straight on it no faffing, even though it wasn't her department. Thank you ladies for all your effort and time, you have definitely kept me sane through a stressful year and thanks for being patient with me!

Gary valued my property for both sales and Lettings and I must say his knowledge of both industries is second to none. He was professional and he really guided me in making my decision to let my property. Gary explained things in easy to understand terms and he even got the local mortgage advisor to call me to see if they could help save me some money. Once I'd finally got everything in place and my property was marketed I was then referred to Amy who inundated me with viewing confirmations and after holding her first block viewing she had 5 offers for me from potential tenants. I had the pick of bunch. I was quite overwhelmed with the amount of interest just for my small 2 bed flat but she really did point me in the right direction and yet again the professionalism and knowledge Amy possessed was incredible. Amy certainly can do her job properly, better that most agents I've ever worked with. Once Amy had confirmed the offer I was then passed over to Sarah the branch administrator. I thought I was organised but Sarah's organisation was unreal. For a first time landlord I didn't have a clue about the legalities of things or even how the process of moving a tenant worked but Sarah kept me informed every step of the way. No question was to small or to silly. She assured me that this isn't a hobby being a landlord is a massive investment and something I should feel at ease with and that's exactly what she did. I can not sing the praises of all the team at Mann anymore. I will certainly be recommending them to anyone I know who is considering selling or renting. Great team, friendly, professional, nice people and welcoming in always. Thanks Gary, Amy and Sarah. Job well done!!!!!
