The most proactive and strategic agent

We sold our house with Preston Baker in November, after previously being disappointed with Manning Stainton. Andrew at Preston Baker was a breath of fresh air, proactive, strategic, and genuinely driven to get results. He ultimately secured a sale on our property where the other, more lacklustre agent had failed. The team were also excellent after the offer was accepted, handling any issues fairly, efficiently, and with clear communication throughout. Preston Barker - an excellent experience.

Booked an viewing for the 2nd of july. When i called to request for the postcode of the property. I was told that the record shows the appointment as cancelled. When i told them i have not received any communication regarding cancellation their reply was that they have not confirmed the appointmentby e mail. Not very good. Very poor service.

In the midst of the rollercoaster of buying and selling houses, Angela at Preston Baker made the whole process worthwhile. Her professionalism, dedication, communication and support throughout the whole process was nothing short of exemplary and I’m so glad we chose to sell our house with Preston Baker. Initially we went with a different agent thinking did it really matter which agent we went with but we can honestly say the service previously experienced and on the other side of the chain were worlds apart from what we received from PB throughout that we cannot recommend Angela and PB highly enough to anyone embarking on a house moving journey. Amazing service

Can’t say enough about how well the sale of our house was managed by Gemma. What can be quite a stressful event was made easier knowing we had advice whenever we needed it (even on her days off). Julie gives a 10/10 exceptional service would highly recommend

I loved Julie from the very first time I met her. She was so passionate about our house and really great with our young kids who were home when she came round to do her valuation. Julie is a lovely person; really gentle, kind and friendly. We opted for a property launch and she had offers for us within a week! Sadly our first buyer’s buyer pulled out therefore our first sale fell through but Julie was incredible and really supported us throughout the second round of viewings. Our eventual sale and purchase was very stressful (due to the bottom of our chain) but Julie went above and beyond on a daily basis chasing the agents, speaking directly to our buyer and updating me regularly. It all happened very last minute in the end and she was messaging me throughout then even came to see us in the new house on moving day. Gemma was so flexible with our needs when it came to selling our home, we weren’t sure exactly when we would want to list our home and Gemma helped us with preparing the photos and getting all of the marketing ready ahead of time. We sold our house via Preston Baker which we found to be a great experience. Jess handled the sale- she was brilliant throughout- she understood the house and the area we lived in, organised a launch day where we had loads of viewings and secured us several offers. The buyer we ended up choosing has been great and it has been smooth sailing from there. Julie at Preston Baker would give us weekly updates and really put my mind at rest regarding time frames (sorry for the stressed phone calls Julie!). Great service and would highly recommend.

Fantastic Experience

I first contacted Preston Baker to come out and view my property in November 2024 for a valuation. After some pondering I finally decided in 2025 the time was right to move on. I contacted Jayne Tomlinson, who did my valuation and her hard work/communication made the dreaded stressful house move everyone talks about, an absolute breeze. The fees were extremely fair and good value. Any questions from my buyers solicitors weren't sat on, I was kept in regular communication which made the whole sale process go quicker than expected. Jayne has truly been fantastic, my property was advertised and had sold in less than a month, she was always available if I had any questions, and was also really personable, which added to whole process making it exciting and again such an easy experience. I really can't thank her enough. If the time comes to move on, I would 100% contact her again. Also a thankyou to Georgia in the office, who was always on hand if I had any questions and was super lovely and helpful. The whole team has been fantastic and I would recommend them to anyone!
