Effective communication skills need to be addressed. I personally don’t believe enough was done and no one got in touch with me every now and again to keep me up to date with their marketing techniques. I have taken my property off the market via email, collected my keys, and not one person has asked me why. That would have been my first job if someone withdrew their property.

Robinsons sold our property and helped us along the way to chase up inquiries. It was a seamless service from their part even in the middle of a global pandemic. We eventually moved into our new property after a very long 7 months. ( searches took forever). R9binsons offered me a piece of mind when times were tough, they are very professional and I would deffinatly use their services again. Barbara you are a star!

Fantastic experience of renting from a…

Fantastic experience of renting from a very professional and helpful company. Me and my partner were in urgent need to rent a flat as I am a nurse for the NHS and needed to move out of my family home due to the COVID 19 pandemic. We had the keys to the flat of our choice within 2 weeks, which was fantastic. We were provided with constant updates from very hardworking staff. A big thank you specifically to Clare and the branch manager of Chester Le Street Robinsons who both went the extra mile. An amazing service, would highly recommend.

Bad Experience!

At first, I sent an enquiring to 12 Fordham road located in Durham using my personal email whether is it available or not? Their response was asking me; what is your occupation? My answer was I am Ph.D student and I am fully sponsored by my government. Their response was unfortunately not available, even though, I found it in all rental website. However, one month later I used my university email address with same details and I sent an enquiring to 12 Fordham road whether is it available or not? This time they said yes, it’s available and I was with Mr. Mason for viewing and everything was great the house was fantastic! We did some negotiate regarding to the rent and some sorts of things. After that I started submitting my application with normal process, I provide them with all my required proofs and documentations in order to speed the application process, unfortunately, I felt they frozen my application until the current landlord response to them. Should I wait until the current landlord response?Clare asked me to provide her with current landlord phone number in order to process the application, however, all the required proofs submitted to her and via the application, I don’t know if she doesn’t trust the documents? I told her I deal with him via email address, I don’t have his phone number, and I said to her this your job not my job to find out his phone number, she said don’t say this my job?????After that I canceled my application because I felt they don’t take my request seriously!!Second, I would thankful to Mr. Mason who deals with me with professional way, he was an amazing guy. Lastly, it is very pad experience to deal with the Robinsons Estate Agent Property, I don't recommend it!!!

Moved me into a house full of fleas not a penny compensation had to bin hundreds of pounds worth of clothing and pay for my own hotel for 3 days while they fumigated the place, which didn't take place till way after the compliant was made, the property was below average, the staff are a joke utterly useless and incompetent very dismissive and rude. Still haven't had my deposit back after 7 weeks now supposed to be 2 stay well clear worst Renters in the North East easily!!!

I rented a flat with robinsons for a year. From the start they have been amazing and attentive with anything that i need. Any problems where wrong they would sort it out straight away with out any arguments. Have to say a big thankyou to Clare who looked after my property. She was very professional and talking to her was like talking to a friend if their was any problems she would sort them with out any worries. Its been the easiest renting experience i have had, very professional, open, honest and trust worthy.

Muchas gracias amigos. These guys/gals went over and above the call of duty, always replying to any query promptly and with a dose of good humour. Their valuation of our property was realistic and what we expected.They kept us informed at every stage of the selling process providing great liaison between us and our buyers.They actually sourced a buyer through market knowledge on the first day the house went on the market. Offer and acceptance same day. I know this will not happen for everyone but it's a sign that they know the local market. First class.

I've used Robinsons for nearly 10 years, initially as a Letting Agent (as a Landlord), and latterly for the sale of a property. I've never received anything less than first class service. Victoria Quarton in the Ingleby Barwick office has been brilliant; her customer service and advice is second to none, plus her timely and clear, concise communications have been invaluable to me as a customer. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

We have bought 3 properties via Robinsons stockton on tees. We also have them managed by them and have a 4th which they will manage shortly. Mark and all the staff on sales and lettings have always given us the best service , they are knowledgeable , polite and helpful . We would not think of going elsewhere. We can pop in at any time for anything and they know us and assist us with whatever issue we have. We would and have recommended them whenever we can. They are a brilliant team.

New Mummy with a First Time Rental!

As a new Mummy, trying to tackle a new baby and rent my old house was tricky! I am so grateful to Robinson’s for making it easier for me! A lot of the time I was unable to accept phone calls as I was having to sort out baby but I was able to communicate via email which was such a relief! I was able to sign and scan documents over without having to leave my home, they made every part of the process so easy for me and were great when it came to organising viewings for me. They are now fully managing my property and I have two lovely tenants whom Robinson’s are looking after for me, if any work needs doing or there is an issue the girls are brilliant at getting to me straight away and making sure it’s ok to do things. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

My first but definitely not my last time using Robinson’s - Stockton Absolutely amazing group of people working here. This was the first time we have bought and sold a property at the same time. Enquiries and issues are always dealt with quickly and professionally. They really do care about their customers. Every member of staff I have spoken to has done everything they can to help with my queries and have helped make moving home so much easier. Things haven’t always went to plan as we were purchasing a Repossession but the staff at Robinsons have went above and beyond to put me at ease and support us through the whole process. I would like to thank everyone there but a particular mention has to go out to Claire (Sales),Lindsey, Rachel, and mark for putting this amazing, efficient team together. Most aspects of Robinsons were great in selling my house - notably the house evaluation and speedy to market setup plus the pay after sale costs really gave a low risk strategy.When the offer came in; I felt I was a little by myself in the negotiation. It was my own pushing for more which was against the advice given to me that gained extra in the sale price. I guess each negotiation is different though and perhaps I was lucky.I must note feedback from my buyer who mentioned Robinsons seemed to prefer to deal with her mother which was disappointing to her.Ultimately, we put the house up for sale with Robinsons and they helped us sell it in a reasonable timeframe which is exactly what we wanted, and we'll always appreciate that.

To whom may concern,I was on my way to see the house on sunday January 19th 2020 and the person in charge to show me the property called me 40 minutes before the appointment (11a.m.) saying that he cannot show me the house cause the tenants are not available before 12 p.m. without explain the reasons.I consider this unacceptable behaviour from both parties since I organised this view almost 1 week ago and there was plenty of time to organise themself and eventually reschedule the viewing.I was already on my way to see the property when i received the call.I organise my journey and I do think people can organise theirs so I found unacceptable and rude and unprofessional what just happened to me.I'd like to remind that everybody in this world have plans during the day so it is ridiculous trying to postpone a viewing 40 minutes before the actual viewing.

Staff at Robinsons Spennymoor branch were very professional. They produced a great sale pack which instantly attached interested buyers and within 5 days, a sale was agreed. They kept me up to date throughout the whole sale process, were punctual with their responses and left no stone unturned, often providing communication between myself and the buyer.
