GoogleI chose JBM because I prefer family businesses to large faceless corporate chains. Scott was the most impressive representative of all the estate agents we invited to value our home. Since appointing them in June 2022, Scott, Mark and Greg have all been a delight to work with.
What impressed me most was how great the communication was. Every email or phone call was responded to promptly. Although it took a little longer to sell, this was only due to the general downturn in the market, which effected all estate agents. GoogleJBM estate agents exceeded all of our expectations with the marketing and sale of our property. Since we are based in the US we needed a team able to drive the process with only minimal support from us. JBM definitely delivered on that.
Despite the 6 hour time difference they made communication via email and WhatsApp easy and our questions were always answered quickly. In addition to standard activities they took on the role of project manager effortlessly, sourcing and working with all required trades to get our property ready for market. They kept us up to date from the time of appraisal, working directly with our letting agents and then as soon as the house was vacant they sent us a detailed assessment and outlined next steps. We appreciated their knowledge and guidance, including recommendation of an excellent solicitor.
We are very happy that we followed our friends’ recommendation and contacted JBM!

He gave up his Saturday morning to allow us to view the property at short notice and stayed in touch regularly as he worked to secure a deal for his clients. GoogleWe recently sold our property using JBM, having removed our property from a very well regarded, high end national estate agents. The previous estate agents resulted in very few viewings, but Scott and team got us a steady stream of serious viewers. Due to the value of the property and the state of the market at the time we launched, it took some time to sell, but throughout we felt that JBM were the best of all the options out there. We had some 'challenging' potential buyers, which ultimately went nowhere, but we felt that Scott handled the situation very well, and with far more patience than I could have managed. Many estate agents in a similar situation might have pressured us to sell regardless, focussed on their commission, but Scotts advice was impartial throughout, wanting to ensure we got a fair value for the property. Ultimately he was correct, with us selling a few months later in far better circumstances.
We will undoubtedly use JBM again in the future.
