The team at Martin & Co. led by Gill Wild, working with Charlotte Johnson and Karen Preece have provided an excellent service, advice and support for the sale of my property. Gill Wild has been so professional in meetings both at Martin & Co. office and at the house and has delivered specific pieces of work exactly ion time - such as the design of a brochure which I was given an input into (which looked great and was really successful in attracting potential buyers). Above and beyond...can't recommend highly enough.

We purchased a property via Martin & Co. after withdrawing an offer on another property listed with another large national agent, largely because of the inactivity of that agent. Due to that previous history we were already very wary of the whole process, but from the outset the team at Martin & Co., and particularly Charlotte Johnson, went above and beyond to make the process as swift and as smooth as it could possibly be. Being located overseas, with a seller who was also not local and not one, but two management companies involved requires a great deal of coordination - and that's even before you add solicitors! Charlotte was perfect in this role ensuring to always keep me informed of every development and any delays. Even when Charlotte was on annual leave she made sure that there was a proper handover before and afterwards so that the file continued to be managed in her absence - again, something which wasn't the case with the other agent. I genuinely couldn't recommend Martin & Co. and Charlotte in particular highly enough. I know that agents are employed by the seller, but Martin & Co. understand that a sale requires both a seller and a buyer to complete successfully and they ensure that both parties are treated professionally and to the highest standard. Last Minute Move for Elderly Mum

We were in a nightmare situation whereby my 79 year old Mum was due to relocate from Middlesbrough to Bingley into a private tenancy. Less than 2 weeks before she was due to move the tenancy fell through as the landlord decided to sell. I contacted Martin and Co about a tenancy they were advertising. Carol called me and when I explained the situation she told me about another tenancy which would be more suitable for my Mum. We arranged a viewing quickly, it was perfect for my Mum. It has all gone through very quickly and she will be moving as planned to the area, all done in a week! Excellent service and empathy shown to our situation. Highly recommend.

Renewing tenancy

My partner and myself are currently in the process of buying a house. Our tenancy became up for renewal and whilst we are happy with the house we are renting, we can’t commit to 6 months due to buying a house. we requested to go on a month to month basis as we have 2 months left of our tenancy and are unsure when or if the house purchase will complete. This was communicated with the landlord and we got a positive answer back within the day which is really helpful to our current position and means we don’t have to worry about what happens whilst the house purchase progresses.

Martin & Co - Bradford. Absolutely total load of rubbish, The staff are anything but professional, communication skills are non existent. They lie through their back teeth, never call back, make you out to be liars. On going issues with the state of the property, never get the builders in to rectify problems and just make excuses. They treat you like a child and talk down to you, very condescending to say the least, Happy to take your money and talk nice until something goes wrong. Avoid at all costs and go to a professional Estate/letting agency. Feel free to listen to a recording Ive made from a phone conversation with someone called Denise then decide if you want to use them. Just ask.

Buying your first house is an incredibly daunting task, and right from the off, the Martin & Co team were fantastically helpful and put my mind at ease.
