GoogleDidn't give us an inventory at the start of our tenancy. Our landlord later decided to screw us over because of that.
I am sorry to read about your dissatisfaction. All deposits are held by approved organisations until a mutual agreement is reached or an independent deposit dispute is complete. The choice to provide an inventory is that of a landlord. In order to successfully claim from any deposit a landlord must provide evidence of the damage that they are claiming for, including evidence that the damage was not present before your tenancy.
