Very happy with all the hard work from the staff at the Sale branch but especially Jordan Massey- who although new to the team provided very good service throughout the reletting of our property. We were kept updated with all the stages of the procedure which was done with professionalism, efficiency and just as importantly in a friendly, pleasant manner. We are pleased we had the good fortune to choose Reeds Rains to manage our property especially as there is such an abundance of agencies in this field as making a mistake in choosing the wrong company can be exasperating, expensive and frustrating. I am the guarantor for my daughter who has just rented a property through Reed Rains. My Daughter and I met Stephen at the property during the house viewing and he was very very helpful in answering all the questions we had. On submitting an application there turned out to be many issues to overcome due to both my daughter’s work status and the information needed for my own guarantor application. Sheila has been one of the most focused and professional people I have met for a while and even though I knew there were many problems she was having to overcome, including timescales with their third party systems, Sheila did this in a most friendly and helpful manner. An amazing ambassador for the Reeds Rains brand. I was also aware of the support that Stephen was giving her during this period, adding to both myself and daughter seeing the Sale branch working very closely as a customer focused team. I would highly recommend Reed Rains.

Rebecca, Mandy and the team were brilliant. What turned out to be a fairly complex move was made a lot easier knowing we were in capable hands. I would not hesitate to recommend Reeds Rains Sale, we had a few valuations that were way off the true value of the house, other agents just trying to secure the listing by inflating the price. Avoid using this company, especially the Sale branch. On the first day, they rented us a property in poor condition and it had not been properly cleaned. Now that we have moved out, they are withholding our full deposit, claiming there were ongoing issues, despite us reporting problems from day one and providing photos as evidence. I have photos and videos from when we first received the property, which clearly show its condition. They have not responded to our concerns. Please also note that all maintenance was handled by their company. Very disappointing experience.

I am surprised that this letting agent has received so many positive reviews, given my experience. Similar concerns have been raised regarding Florence Thomas. In my case, it proved extremely difficult to recover my deposit. The agent relied on minor issues listed in the report, such as marks on the bathtub and residue in the washing machine detergent drawer, to justify withholding the deposit in full, and ultimately refused to return it.

Head and shoulders above the other agents I dealt with! Having sold the house in about 4 days (and getting a brilliant price!) I was astounded at the continued communication, updates and services throughout the process. RR regularly called my buyer to check on progress, actively keeping me updated all the way through. No other agent I have dealt with has done this. It didn't stop things from being slightly 'glitchy' (but that's more down to the English system of buying/selling houses), but did mean I trusted their advice, and that they were all over any situation that arose. Mandy, Rebecca and Sheila (apologies if I've forgotten anyone else) were an absolute pleasure to work with, and I am SO pleased I chose Reeds Rains in Sale to sell my property.

Only look after the interests of landlords and not the tenants living in their property. Shamelessly making deposit deductions that the deposit protection agency agreed were unfair and had no basis. Took weeks to answer simple queries and support us with access to things in the letting description (e.g car parking permits for the property). If you're a renter, avoid at all costs!

Recently purchased a house and Reeds Rains were the agent. I appreciate they don't work for me, but buyers are kind of an important part of the house selling process. Phones were mostly unanswered, emails ignored and the attitude was pretty poor. On our viewing they made a suggestion to "get cleaners in before you complete" which we thought was a good idea. Actually doing that was an absolute nightmare and we gave up in the end. The memorandum of sale took nearly a week to arrive, whereas ours was ready in 2 hours... I get that there's procedures to follow, but given the values and timeframes we were dealing with an ocassional check up call or even knowing anything about the property would have been nice. If you're thinking of using them, see how often you get through on the phone - then imagine your buyers doing the same....

They arranged a good photographer who helped produce an excellent prospectus which led to 3 initial viewing days.
