Ignored me for months until I had to get a legal specialist to contact them on my behalf. If I hadn’t of done this I never would of got any money back. Worst estate agents ever. House was filthy due to the landlord living unhygienic and Kevin Henry promising it was ‘professionally cleaned’. KH owed me money that I had to BEG to get back. Took me 2 months of chasing them to get my rent back then a further 4 weeks chasing them for my deposit. In the end I had to get legal advice and magically I got the money back. ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE of a ‘company’.

Today was supposed to be a good day. Me and my husband are shopping for a house, so we started to look online and spotted one that we took interest in. My husband exchanged emails with an agent at Kevin Henry's branch in Saffron Walden. We got all the safety protocol requirements for the visit. He explained that he is mask exempt which was agreed with the agent. We arrived for the viewing, I was using mask and both of us wearing gloves as requested. Upon entering the house, a gentleman from Kevin Henry greeted and asked to remove the shoes at the door. As we were walking thru the house conversing in our first language , this gentleman told us to look around and stepped away. My husband asked a few questions and we went upstairs the agent stayed downstairs. My husband said that he had some questions to ask about upstairs to the Kevin Henry state agent, and asked him to come upstairs. For our surprise he said " no" and my husband asked why?! puzzled. He replied angrily "Don't you know that there is a nasty infeccious virus going around?" My husband replied yes I do, but we are here to see the house and ask questions about it. Then me and husband feeling really uncomfortable came downstairs readying to leave. We asked his name and he replied "I'm not telling you my name", I asked why sir?! Then he said "I'm gonna ask you to leave the property now!" as we were putting back ours shoes, quite upset because of the ill treatment. Once more trying to understand, I asked it is because we are immigrants? His reply , "yes", and "I'm racist and misogynist". My question is: Was this real state agent prepared to deal with showing a house under today's situation? Was he prepared to receive the many people that were getting into the house whilst the situation that we are under? Or he was plain rude, a self-proclaimed racist and misogynist as he said it out loud to our faces? Don't we all deserve the same treatment as others? Why this state agent treated us like we didn't matter? It's a shame that Kevin Henry has such poorly prepared person to deal with customers in uncertain times. I would greatly appreciate a follow-up on this matter.

Louise, and the entire Lettings team, have been just brilliant throughout my tenancy - helping me move in, and sorting any issues I had (fortunately very few in the 3.5 years I was renting through them) exceptionally quickly. However, I cannot thank Louise, in particular, enough for all her help in moving out last week in difficult circumstances and at very short notice. I know it’s been exceptionally tough for her as well, but she responded to me quickly every time and helped me communicate with the landlady as efficiently as possible. Sue Johns and her team were fantastic during the whole process and ensured that we were updated at all times from our initial viewing right through to completion. Sue personally managed our purchase and nothing was ever too much trouble, with all problems resolved and questions answered as quickly as possible.
