We recently finally sold our house after a very protracted process during a very difficult time. we have nothing but praise for the way in which Intercounty, and James Nunn in particular, dealt with even the most upsetting and unexpected events that occurred. The professionalism of the staff throughout was exemplary. Thanks also to Helen who conducted the viewings and enabled us to obtain an offer well above asking on the property in ten days. The support from the Intercounty team in progressing the sale was much appreciated.

OUR PROPERTY WAS NOT AN EASY SELL. Thank you Intercounty SAFFRON WALDEN. Although our house had its charm, limitations meant we needed a specific buyer. The team worked very hard to find us the right person. Every viewing was carried out professionally (other agents in Saffron Walden we worked with to try and buy a house with sometimes didn't even show up, and let the seller do the viewing without prior discussion) with our potential buyers on our property from intercounty managed very well. We were also given honest feedback on our house too so that our expectations were managed well. Other agents that we listed the property with prior to intercounty miss managed our expectations when valuing and listing the house (possibly to get the listing) and also miss managed our expectations when it came to relaying potential offers coming through.Intercounty Saffron Walden did not just deliver a better service but they provided a faultless service, putting 100% into every viewing, each feedback delivery, and they kept us updated every week with what they were doing to sell our house (something that also lacked from other agents in the town).Intercounty did not just get lucky with finding a buyer, they had to work hard and also exceeded our expectations with the offer we received on the house because of good buyer management.Furthermore, our chain ended up being extremely complicated and through no fault of their own it nearly fell through, but the team worked very hard to work with 5 parties, estate agents and solicitors to get it over the line when we were on a very strict deadline.The whole team were extremely patient with us when we were worried about whether we would complete in time but they were always on the end of the phone and email when needed, and they were always friendly and helpful, and never got frustrated with us demonstrating exceptional patience.They have a great network across multiple offices closer to London which was useful when finding someone relocating to buy our house.We also bought a house through Intercounty Saffron Walden and they managed that without fault, still giving their time to let us into the property after our offer had been accepted.A huge that you to PETER, CLARE, CHARLOTTE AND ABBY for all of your help and hard work. Brilliant service from ALL of the staff at Intercounty Bishop’s Stortford. The sales team arranged and conducted lots of viewings and found the ideal buyer. Everyone kept me updated with feedback and offers. Doug took over once we had secured a sale in a very short time. He was friendly professional and so helpful. He was always available to answer questions. I could not fault the service we received and would 100% recommend Intercounty to everyone. Well done team, you should be very proud of yourselves, you are all a credit to your company!!!

We purchased a flat from Intercounty and then choose them to be our managing agent. They have been fantastic throughout - from Jason who completed the viewings, Lois who is an absolute pleasure to deal with supporting the sale progression and finally Dan and Mollie who finalised the managing agent pieces of the process. All work well as a team and supported us thoroughly throughout. Well done, great job from a great team - couldn't have asked for more.

The Team at Intercounty were exceptional. They had a difficult sale on their hands as we went on the market at the point when there was so much concern over Brexit - swiftly followed by Covid and lockdown. We tried other agents and were promised so much but only one delivered. The team were always professional - customer focussed and when I lost my temper or became emotional -they were wonderfully calm. Potential buyers were always properly vetted and there was always someone on hand from the team to show people around the house - we never had to chase for feedback it was always prompt and informative.As we were moving internationally, during a global pandemic, the sale was complicated and the team were incredibly supportive and worked so hard to get the sale over the line to enable us to move before a second wave or lockdown.It would be quite difficult to fault them.Clare, Charlotte, Abby and Pete you are the dream team. We had been on the market with another local agent for some time and decided to change agent to try a fresh approach. We received an offer within 2 weeks of instructing Intercounty. We were also given great support in our house search. The agents took time to get to know us and our needs and we felt very supported at all times. Recently dealt with these finding a new property to rent. Big mention to Caroline who helped us through the process when other people didn't. We had a bit of an emergency to move and she pushed it all through for us even when she was unwell and the lock down was in full.We had been dealing with Intercounty for a few months beforehand but even then no agents went above and beyond for us like Caroline did. Intercounty if you are reading this, give Caroline a promotion or pay rise! She deserves it!
