The process always starts with a friendly chat with Hugh Evans, one of the partners. Hugh's knowledge of the local market is second to none, his suggestions are always realistic and we know we can rely on his advice. Hugh is ably supported by Gaynor, Caroline and Lun in the office who keep us informed at every stage of the selling/buying process.

I had a house inspection by Liberty & was a pleasure to meet her. From the moment she arrived she was very professional and friendly. She took her shoes off at the door straight away and explained what the instructions would be as it was my first one. She checked everything, picking up on a few things that needed attention and assured me they would be sorted. I had a few things I wanted to bring to her attention too and again she said that they would be sorted. I felt nothing was a problem for her and everything was taken on board. I felt very comfortable chatting to Liberty and felt like it was a friend popping round more than a house inspection. Thank you for your time (and putting up with Tilly) It was lovely meeting you.

Received a timely email to inform me when the inspection would take place, received a call this morning from Liberty to briefly discuss the inspection process, and had a follow up email again from Liberty to say that the inspection was complete - overall an excellent experience.

Process was long and tedious but as are most house buying processes. Cavendish were accommodating with my requests and the best feature was being able to access the estate agents on weekends which was extremely helpful. Cavendish were also able to provide me with an independent advisor who can find conveyancing solicitors who can act on my behalf based upon my individual circumstances.

Earlier this month we purchased a property which was on the market through Cavendish. Market fluctuations in 2023 had seen our own property sale fall through twice previously and after a stressful twelve months dealing with multiple vendor agents, working with Lun & Caroline was an absolute breath of fresh air! Communication was seamless and in the eleventh hour when our own purchaser wanted works conpleted prior to move, it was Cavendishwho really went the extra mile to help get the trades in to turn the job round quickly and save the chain. Purchased a property through Cavendish, whilst I appreciate the agents are acting on behalf of the seller, the level of service, effort and tenacity shown to us by Rebecca was exemplary. Emails were responded to promptly, she kept all parties aware of who was actioning what documentation, my particular purchase was elongated as a number of unforeseen issues arose however Rebecca was ‘on the ball’ all time knowing who had to what between various third parties. Cavendish the art the Swindle!

GENUINE REVIEW - Be aware Cavendish employs predatory business practices such as ensuring they take a sizeable chunk from your deposit at the end of tenancy, even if you professionally clean the property. They purposely do this on the hope the tenant will be so desperate for the deposit money back they will accept such a scam. Luckily enough for me it’s not about the money it’s the principle and pointing out such predatory practices to protect the vulnerable from rogue letting agencies.
