Awful service, and led by an awful director Shaun. Wanted to by a house they were selling so forced to use their services. Agreed asking price and house taken off market, then told I had to pay £300 for a reservation agreement to take house off market, which all other estate agents do for free. When I questioned this with agent in Angmering office to see whether this should be paid by sellers as I didn’t need a £300 insurance policy for a buy to let purchase without a chain, their Director Shaun Adams then instructed the agent to put the house back on the market and not tell me. I then saw house I had been told was being sold to me up for sale. No one bothered to tell me this. Asked Shaun to explain his actions and he said I was just a time waster and policy was to take house off market only when reservation paid. Had a big row over phone and his customer service was shocking. Staff turnover in Angmering office is really high and Shaun blamed team for my bad service. Asked Shaun when he reluctantly gave the weakest of apologies finally, to find a way to show he was sorry and if he was, instead of compensating me, give a donation to charity and tell me who he gave it to. Despite 2 reminders no response. Do not use Cooper Adams Angmering or Shaun. Shocking service and will cost you £300 to buy any house they sell. All other agents do this for free. Wasn’t a time waster as bought property in the end. Used Butts for my previous sales and purchases and they were fantastic.

Even though Cooper Adams were the estate agents for the people we were buying from rather than own estate agents, we felt like they were acting on our behalf as much as our vendors. We felt like we could contact them at any time and they would respond to our questions and requests promptly and professionally. Cooper Adams have opted to introduce Reserve Agreements between buyer and seller which adds security to the sale/purchase. This may not be to everyone’s liking due to the cost involved but it does offer security that neither party will pull out at the last minute of a purchase. Overall we would recommend Cooper Adams as an estate agent for those wishing to sell their property.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Cooper Adams acted as estate agent on the sale of our house. Throughout the process they were extremely attentive and communicative. Scarlett, the agent who handled our sale, helped to speed the process along at every stage, from handling the viewings to ensuring, once an offer was accepted, that we moved toward contract as quickly as possible. We received regular email and phone updates, and at least a once-weekly call to inform us of process up and down the chain. I could not recommend the estate agent more highly, and the experience showed the immense value of having a skilled and dedicated agent in smoothing the often stressful process of moving home.

Having heard about the 'help to buy' scheme but not sure exactly what it was, popped into the Rustington Branch of Cooper Adams for advice. Entered and was greeted by the extremely friendly staff of Peter, Jade and Scarlett. Together they explained in easily digestible terminology, the history of the 'help to buy' scheme, who was eligible and its pros / cons. I left the office with much clearer understanding and the confidence to make a decision that I would not regret at a later date. Thank you, three for being so helpful.
