Simpson weekly took over the sale of our house, after an awful experience with another estate agent who caused damage to the property and did not inform us. Simpson weekly were a shining light and worlds apart from the other estate agent. They kept us informed at every level and sold within the estimated time they gave.

We have had a very pleasant experience with Simpson and Weekly. We made a big decision to move from the South to the Midlands. We first approached SW regarding another property they had available. They were very quick at responding to our query and got the viewing booked in at the time most convenient to us. We met Alison (the agent) at the property and after looking around realised this property wasn't for us. We went through our requirements with Alison and she advised that there was another property in a village close by that meet our requirements. Alison offered to take us round there then and there. We looked around the property and fell in love with it. Alison gave us a lot of helpful information regarding the history of the property, the landlady and general location. Very knowledgeable and helped to give us everything for an informed decision. We decided to go for it, Alison said she would call the landlady and get back to us. Not even 30 minutes later Alison called us back to say the landlady will accept our application and its a go. Throughout the whole application process, SW kept us to date with the progress, what we can expect and time frames. Everything happened efficiently and SW accommodated our requests and questions. Even when I had made a mistake with the paperwork they were quick to rectify the problem without any issues. Thanks to the knowledge of Alison and SW we are now living in our dream home, and we cannot thank them enough. Highly recommend to anyone looking to rent, buy or sell.

Alison Thomas from Simpson & Weekley was great, very efficient, kept us in the loop of what was going on, only ever an email/phone call away. When we first viewed the house rang the next day and told within 1 hour we had been accepted which was great. When we had to sign all paperwork for the keys etc Alison left all paperwork in a folder as she wasn’t in and Jon Wright signed it all with us and was great, very chatty. Very happy with our service at Simpson & Weekley. Mark Weekley was also really good when showing us around the property, if we needed something answer when he would answer, and if you didn’t know, he pointed in the right direction to finding out what we needed to know.

The service we received initially was extremely professional and the team managed the viewings and offers really well. Our property sold really quickly and was pitched well. Where the service excelled even more for us was in the sales progressing. What seemed like a straightforward transaction became anything but with very poor service from our solicitors. The sales progression team handled all of this with compassion and professionalism, even chasing up our purchase after our sale through them had completed. The understanding and communication through this prolonged period enabled us to remain calm and confident all would be ok - which is was in the end!

From the start, they were responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Nothing was a problem, even when I asked them to show my sister around before exchange rather than see it myself. I was moving from Cornwall to Rushden and my sister lives in Northampton so she was closer and could do whatever was necessary for me. Towards the end of the process, there were some problems with the chain below my sale and Alexi chased it for me regularly and kept in touch. They made a difficult process much more pleasant for me.

After initially having my property up for sale with another estate agent in Rushden where communication and viewings were non-existent, I am so glad I called Simpson & Weekley to list and sell the property instead. I have always said that it is not the name above the door of an estate agency but the people inside that make things work but in my sale both the name and the team were excellent from start to finish. Pricing the property correctly, knowing their market and then marketing it in the best way meant a sale was achieved in a prompt timescale. Sales Progressor Alexi became my best friend for a while whilst she brought the sale to a happy conclusion for all parties. I went through Simpson & Weekley to purchase a residential property over a decade ago. When I first put an offer in I went to see them, one of the first questions I was asked if do I have a property to sell, which is a odd thing to ask as I wanted to buy. I did have a property which was a BTL investment. I had problems with the tenants at the time and I didn’t know what my options were as this was my first property. So when asked I just said yes because I thought that was the only option to me. But I could of used the equity in that property and re-let it to cover the mortgage on both properties. They were only interested in selling it to get the £1750 commission. Because they are just salesman’s. Their short term gain has cost me thousands of pounds in lost rental income over the last decade as rental prices have in increased by %100 in that time. This all happened before all the changes to the mortgage system, with the MMR in 2014 and the more rigorous checks, affordability checks etc following the 2008 credit crunch. So what I am saying is do your own research when it comes to financial situations and double check everything you are told. Trust your own instincts. Maybe get a second opinion and don’t rush your decisions. Someone else is now profiting from the fruits of my labour as I done all the work to get the property up to standard.

I really can't recommend these guys enough! Jess, Mark and the team sold my house within a few weeks and the level of service we got was amazing and they are still giving us an excellent service during the whole purchase and sale process.
