Friendly staff, great customer service from Mullberry homes...

We can't praise Faye of Mullberry Homes enough. We went to visist as we are looking at purchasing our first home and she was so helpful. She was honest, open and very personable, for us that means alot as its hard to find these days in people. We wish that Mullberry were doing more developments in our area as when we are ready we would of definitely purchased one of there homes.

Love the house and the area

Love the house and the area. We’ve been really pleased with the process of buying through Mulberry and Sally our sales rep has been great at taking us through each step and responding quickly to any queries we may have had. There was a relatively small delay to completion of our build, but we were always made aware this would be a possibility and it was well managed. Site team have also been great. Would recommend.

We reserved our Mulberry home in May 21 and moved in Dec 21.Their sales staff Claire and Leisa have being nothing but brilliant throughout.Very knowledgeable and helpful, going the extra mile to assist or get things done.For instance-• There was never pressure to upsell on options, only suggestions on the best buys.• As we were moving over three hours away we couldn't just pop up. They sent regular videos and photos of the build progress.• Completing for us on a day they were actually closed.• Initially No broadband on move in day, so I had to buy a 4G router which Mulberry then reimbursed me for.Once we moved in there was a small leak from our down stairs toilet.As this was over xmas period site was closed (an emergency number had been provided).But we simply turned off the water to the toilet and emailed the issue in.First day after the new year the site plumber came to check the leak. It required a washer which arrived the next day and was then fixed.Being our second new build home we learnt form our past mistake and got a professional snagger in.The report was very positive, commending the brick work, tiling and plastering.There were no major issues and most cosmetic.We have since submitted a list of snags for Mulberry to work through.They have started work on some. I hope and trust the aftersales will prove to be as effective and helpful as the sales team.TL;DR: Mulberry in our experience are a good builder.

Honey, we’re home!

We’ve just bought our first new home with Mulberry. In all honesty I was a bit nervous at first because you hear such horror stories about new builds, but right from the offset Donna Blagrove made us feel comfortable and welcomed to the process. She’s been an absolute legend-keeping us updated, chatting to us and answering our endless questions like she was only looking after us and not a whole site, and not even rolling her eyes while we spent hours agonising over the choices! I was actually really impressed by the choices-I think I was expecting them either to be just bland or to only have three things to choose between, but there were so many to choose from, and all really lovely so it was really exciting to put our stamp and character on the house and not just find something that ‘would do’. It’s far exceeded our expectations so far-the tiling is so precise, it’s so warm and cosy, spacious and elegant, and really careful thought has been put in to the whole development to allow nice views, personal space but community feel, gorgeous planting with really good established plants, and care so that you’re not too overlooked. I love it. Steve has been amazing too, and stayed over his usual time to see us in when we had a few issues with removals. His property demonstration was really informative and helpful, and he’s been very clear that we can just email him if there’s ever an issue and he will get it sorted. Everyone we’ve dealt with has been really lovely and supportive, and have made the whole process very smooth and non-scary for us first time new home buyers! Thank you for our lovely home.

Trust inspiring and Super considerate

Trust inspiring, honest, considerate, super helpful , enthusiastic without being pushy, kind, thoughtful, full of laughter, encouraging...these are some of the words that come to mind when describing Claire Bull at Mulberry, Kingsbury, Lutterworth. She is no nonsense and no ordinary sales person. She is straightforward, says it as it is and does not do garden paths. Buying a house is not like buying a cardigan - Claire made it all posh Cardigan easy! Not once did she say one thing she diid not mean and she has honoured every promise made to me on behalf of Mulberry so far. She is clearly passionate about her job and for someone like her to be so convinced and loyal to Mulberry the way she is- Mulberry must be doing something very right. Integrity is a big one and that is what I sensed and continue to experience in my dealings with Claire. The personal touches were second to none- - chilled drinks in August and the extra hot capuchino in November with the right no sugar and milk! When Claire was on holiday, Leisa looked after me well and did not take it personally that I wanted to double check things with Claire - specially the tiles spec etc. I had my big day yesterday and walked into the near finished house for the first time- apparently generous and helpful personnel are Mulberry's signature tune- Rob and Karl were total gentlemen- they were most patient and talked me through the details of the things I needed to know. I took copious notes and they encouraged me to do so with the promise that they would be on site well into my move and that I need not worry if I misplaced my notes! The house itself - full of light and airy with lots of special details as well as safety features. I am glad Mulberry's don't cut corners with design and their design is future proof too. I have been given a list of do's and don'ts for a new built- and a list of helpful addresses and contacts e.g. council etc. I haven't moved in yet but am confident that I will be able to write a very satisfied final review. Thankyou Mulberry for a stress free and happy experience so far- a special thanks to Claire - you have made a most impossible move from London to Lutterworth feel like a doddle. I am looking forwards to my final home and lovely times. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou.

Kingsbury Park, Lutterworth

In August 2020 we reserved our first home together at the Mulberry Homes Kingsbury park development in Lutterworth. We completed in February 2021 and we couldn’t be happier in our home. The houses on our development all look so lovely, the beautiful exteriors have some character and is definitely one of the things that drew us to a Mulberry Home. The position of our plot is fantastic too and we love the location of the development being so close to the country park and fields for walking our dogs. We didn’t know much about the area before we moved here but our sales advisor, Leisa, was very friendly and knowledgable and helped us decided this would be the right place for us. After completion, we had very few snags or issues. The only ones we did have were sorted by the site time within the first couple of weeks. I can’t comment on the customer care side, as we haven’t had to call them! Which is only a good thing in my eyes. All in all, we love our new home, the development and the area and are very happy that we chose Mulberry homes. We would definitely recommend them to anyone who asked.

Nice house design delivered poorly

The design of the house is the only positive hence the second star. From the point of taking the deposit onward has not been a great experience some 18 months on. Yes, they are new builds, and I expected snags, however the lack of response and coordination to resolve issues is frankly comical. We are still waiting for issues to be resolved 11 months after they have been raised. There is also little point in following the escalation process as still nothing happens if you are lucky to get a response at all.Please also note that the 5 star reviews detailed below have been added by Mulberry homes.

Mulberry experience

When buying our house with Mulberry we found the experience to be a pleasant one. The genuine and friendly Keelan in particular provided excellent customer service keeping us in the loop with the house completion and the process of moving in was streamlined. Small snag list was dealt with efficiently and in a timely manner by the always friendly Stuart and team on site. Mulberry definitely have the feel of a more premium house builder and if we were to move in future another Mulberry home would definitely be considered above other new build companies.

Very happy at Manor Heath

We moved into our new house at Manor Heath three months ago and have felt very much at home from day one. We had a really good experience with Mulberry Homes from our first appointment with them. Unfortunately, the sale of our flat wasn't an easy process, but sales consultant Keelan Riley was very good at working with our estate agent and solicitors to keep everything moving along so we could buy our house. We love the design of our Mulberry home. The size of the rooms, the layout and finish are excellent. The way the development is being constructed and the landscaping is lovely. And whilst we have had a few minor snagging issues, the site management (Jai and Greg) have been good at cracking on with them and making sure everything is as we would want it to be. Having purchased a new build home before, I can say Mulberry are a cut above other housebuilders. Keep up the good work!

Firstly, this is a genuine review and the comments and scoring are my own. I have been asked to provide a review but am only too happy to do so. I have recently moved into to the development and this is my first experience of buying a new home.Sales ProcessWe were first told about the development by friends who already lived in the village. The sales process has been a pleasure from start to finish. Our main contact is Sally. Sally really took time to understand what we were looking for, what was important to us and, as ‘newbie’s’ to new home buying, guided us through the process. We always had the children with us and Sally has always gone out of her way to welcome them and make them feel included as part of the exciting process of buying a home. Sally’s communication, follow up and management of the process was faultless and were are very grateful for this.Build QualityWhat caught our attention when first viewing the show homes was the quality of the finish, and the spec of bathroom and kitchen fittings, flooring, doors, appliances etc. Even down to the to brand of light switch used, everything feels like it has been chosen based on quality, not price.Since moving in, we have not been disappointed. The finished is as good as we observed in the show homes and the house has a quality feel throughout. We have friends who also live in new builds and they have commented on the quality of the finish on our home.I am very satisfied with the quality of my new home.Moving In DayThis was an emotional day for us as we moved to the area for the first time. Sally gave up time on her day off so that she could personally be here when we arrived, a gesture that was very much appreciated. Sally took time to talk us through the basics and provide us with a lovely welcome pack ahead of our formal home introduction the following day.On day two, Steve the Site Manager came to take us round the new home and show us how everything worked. He really took time to get to know us which made the whole experience feel personal.AftercareSo, there is snagging. We expected snagging, it’s a simple reality of any building project. I highlighted the first items of snagging I had noted on moving in day, it was resolved by Steve and member’s of his team the following day. We then waited a couple of weeks to collate anything we noted which we shared with the customer service team as requested. Steve has since been to meet with us, talk through the list and immediately started resolving them, some there and then, others over the few days. As I write this, I still have some items outstanding but am very confident they are in hand and have been kept well informed on plans to resolve. Steve is regularly on site, drops in to check progress when passing and always gives us time if we need to speak to him when we see him around the development.The other thing we have really noted is the professionalism of all the trades people working on site, always polite, chatty, helpful. If they are doing work on public space near our home, they knock on the door to let us know what’s going on.In summary, whilst this is my only experience of purchasing a new home, I am overwhelmingly happy with my choice to purchase from Mulberry Homes and am very grateful to Sally, Steve and the wider team for all they have done.

From my initial enquiry with Mulberry homes all the way to completion, Keelan was always efficient, friendly and eager to help. Purchasing a home and moving is always stressful particularly with 2 very young kids, but he was constantly accommodating and helpful. We had a very stressful completion day and a late move in time (due to problems with our chain below) and felt very looked after by the Mulberry team. Whilst we settled into our new home, Keelan continued to keep in touch and help wherever necessary. We have not had many problems with our home and love it. Whenever we have had any issues or snagging they have always been dealt with as expected. Keelan is a credit to your team!

I visited the development at Easter and immediately put down my deposit as I was impressed with the layout of both my house and the estate. I was given an estimated completion date of the end of July, in the end this was only missed by 2 weeks which given the country was in covid lockdown was a great achievement. There were a few minor snags when I moved in, this is to be expected with a new build property. The site team have fixed all the issues, including some very minor ones, promptly. You hear some horror stories about new developments which did make me worry about buying a new build but I needn't have worried. All in all a great service from the sales and site teams.

Manor Heath Purchase

My wife and I have recently moved into a Mulberry home on the Manor Heath Estate.All I can say is what a fantastic job the team done. In particular Keelan Riley, Greg Driscoll and Jai Sweeney.We made Mulberry aware of a very strict timeframe we needed to be moved in for because of the birth of our child. This would have never been achieved without the tenacious attitude of Keelan following up our sale and purchase from start to finish. Great customer service
