GoogleGemma and her crew were very helpful during the sale of our house and advised us all the way. Ruth's online photos were extremely professional and our house featured several times in their window too. Another gold star for their fixed rate sale fee so we knew exactly how much cash we would have left.

GoogleUndoubtedly the best Estate Agents in Rotherham. Crucible are what every estate agent should be, diligent, attentive and completely professional every step of the process. Jab is brilliant and definitely goes the extra mile for his clients. Will certainly be my first port of call for any future purchases or sales.

GoogleUnfortunately Not a good experience we have left emails with No Reply and even spoke to them on the phone and got told they will pass the message on to Emma as they are on the phone with someone else they would get back to us, still No reply, it has cost us money and time , we took their advice and then got ignored. we would Not recommend and would not use .

GoogleI’ve used Crucible (formerly Rotherlets) for many years and have no complaints. Especially in the latter years where circumstances were made difficult. The staff have always been supportive namely Helen, Dawn and Danielle and my eventual sale of the property was made easy by their help and diligence.

GoogleNot very good Had an appointment at 2:45 on a saturday. When i got to the property the tenant answered unaware of my visit to the property. She was lovely and showed me around the property. I was excited to say the least! It was lovely! As soon as i saw the property i was extremely keen. The tenant advised me that she would put a good word in for the landlord as we are becoming homeless and was in need of this house. The tenatnt took.My number and said she would message the landlord (michael) and advise we wanted it. Emailed letting company as soon as i got home (10 mins after) and advised of my appointment time,name,phone number all the relevant information they needed. Asked in the email for an urgent call back so that i could pay £240.00 fees to secure the house. I also did try to call the office but it was closed on saturday. called 11:30am monday to be told it was gone! Angry/ upset that these people didnt really book me an appointment because the tenant wasnt even aware of our visit! Didnt get a chance to have this house! They gave a 3 bedroom property to a single person who doesnt need all the room and didnt not check there email as i wanted it first ! Tried to call again tuesday to discuss this further and they where shut for "staff training" Ive dealt with several letting agencies over the last 2 months, these have annoyed me more than any Of them! Was even willing to pay £240.00 ridiculous fees which i wouldnt have paid anywhere else. What a joke

GoogleAfter a bitter experience with my past estate agents I was a bit skeptic about dealings with estate agents but Crucible proved me wrong. From viewing with the bubbly Abby to management of the property by Dawn Johnson, Dawn watts, Michelle and Emma. Any issues with the property were addressed quickly and they would always check back with you if everything is working okay. I was overly impressed with their pricing as most agencies now charge ridiculous amount before move in but they only charged what was necessary making it easier for me to pay off all charges. I would recommend this estate agent to anyone who wants peace of mind with renting, purchase or selling, you won t regret it.

YellHorrible And Full Of Excuses - Parkgate Crucible Homes
Their staff just do not care about tenants in the slightest. They have a bag of excuses they use as default ways of getting people off the phone or out of their office. They will quite happily break every rule in your tenancy agreement and then act like they didn't, which includes them turning up on your door unannounced trying to get in. Unless you tell them your boiler is going to explode, they will not undertake any repairs for weeks, and when you call to complain they give excuses such as how their contractor failed them, or how they thought they had sent somebody round already. Avoid these people at all costs.

GoogleMy husband and I found a house through Crucible. Overall it was fine, but after we had paid and were supposed to move in they forgot to send someone to the house to give us the keys and we were stranded for over an hour outside in the rain with all of our belongings. When the guy arrived we found out that the contract was for 6 months and not a year. So not the best experience, but not as bad as others.

After some truly terrible service and 'passing the buck' from the Parkgate branch of Crucible I feel it is only fair to warn everyone to avoid them at all costs. I bought a property with a sitting tenant from Crucible several months ago, and decided that I would switch to a different letting agent to manage my property. Despite being fully aware of all the facts at the time and having no valid excuse, Crucible managed to pay my first month's rent to the previous owner, and over 3 months and many emails/phone calls later still refuse to pay this money to me, claiming that they can do nothing until they receive this money back from the previous owner. This mistake was theirs and they should be recovering the funds from the previous owner in their own time. In the meantime I am still out of pocket and Crucible have decided just to wash their hands of the whole debacle. They will not be getting away with this and they will be hearing further from me via the Property Ombudsman. Do business with this company at your peril.

GoogleI lodged a complaint to Fiona in the letting department about a power outage in the property, after promising to send someone over, sadly, no one turned up, and she never ring to let me know even till next day. Hence I had to sleep in darkness till I eventually got a technician myself. I have never experienced such a terrible and unprofessional attitude before now.
