horrendous been in this house 7 years had laminate laid down nothing more but constantly seeing people going next door doing the damp new this new that i asked for a tenancy agreement a few weeks ago still waiting. i asked for a fence and gate so my kids can play out they refused so they cant play out as its not safe took 2 years to get a new boiler and a winter with an 8 month old in and out of hospital on oxygen to get it

Simon at Bricknells has helped me for many years. Whenever my property became empty I would just contact Simon, provide him with any updated information and he would have it advertised in no time. I have always had a good interest from the advertising and been very satisfied with the tenants. Simon deals with the tenancy agreements, reference checks and makes sure I am aware of any changes in legislation. I have always found him to be helpful and supportive if I needed clarity on anything. I would have no hesitation in working with Simon again and using Bricknells as a letting agent. Thanks Di

Excellent Service and Responsiveness

Bricknells have been my agent of choice for the past two years. As a landlady with a number of properties in the Rotherham area, I have found their local knowledge to be exceptional. Property inspections are conducted on a regular basis to ensure that properties are maintained to a high standard. I have found that any property repair issues that the tenants may have are attended to swiftly, and this is due to good communication between agent and landlord. I have never heard any complaints from my tenants with regards to the contractors used for repairs. It is very rare that I have withhold any amount of the bond paid on my properties as any issues are dealt with before the tenants vacate the property. I would recommend (and have done) Bricknells to anyone looking for a property and to any landlord looking for an efficient, competitive agent.

Will never rent through them again

Shocking customer service manner, lack of communication and slow to respond. Put everything in writing to them because they deny phone conversations and anything that you log over the phone. Very poor customer service and people skills, miserbale bunch of women and very rude when you visit the Rotherham Wellgate branch to sign papers etc. Poor property maintenance, repairs and I had to argue my bond back due to them not communicating with my landlord properly. Overall my renting experience with them was a complete sham, I cut it short and moved so that I got a better agent and property that is maintained and managed well by a different company. Will never rent through this company again
