GoogleI do not understand the negative reviews on here. We bought a property from Winkworth with Dan’s help. He was excellent. It’s not been an easy process, not any fault of Winkworth’s I might add, and the service has been flawless. Claire has been so helpful, kind and honest throughout the whole process. I don’t think I could have asked for better estate agents. Would recommend 100%!

GoogleAwful customer service. Spoke to a lady about our viewing for a property, she said we needed to give her more information on the property even though she called us first? She thought it was funny that we have 3 cats, making a joke about it at the end of the conversation. Very condescending and rude. How do you let your staff act this way? Don’t use winkworth, there are plenty other estate agents in romsey!

GoogleMy experience with Winkworth Romsey seemed slightly off from the initial call. Extremely biased and tend to stereotype (I will explain in further detail) which I find rather despicable. I'm 28 rather successful and my friend works for the council and is rather high up in his position. We have rented properties now for the past 3 years together and have had no issues with any other estate agents. Due to us being 2 males who have a very professional and career focused lifestyle this is supposedly a red flag 🚩. I find that to be completely ridiculous that when two friends, who have historical evidence of living together with proof of references from companies who we have previously rented from. The issue that the estate agent described was "if one of you have/or ends up getting a girlfriend who stays over then that could be an issue" firstly if I am renting a house which will become my home for the next 12 - 24 months then surely I as a grown adult have the right to have people stay round whenever I want? What is the difference between a women and man moving in together? To sum up my experience in 3 words unprofessional, biased and judgemental.
Dear Mr Miller, in reply to your review, as explained to you, this particular property is not managed by us as agent, so to accept professional sharers or not is exclusively the landlords decision. This is by no means any reflection on your personal circumstance, indeed as an agent we are extremely happy and willing to let to sharers, with the landlords written agreement, which is the case in many of our properties but sadly not at this property. Please do understand that we are unable to override the landlords instruction and, in this instance, the landlord also does not want to undertake the additional administration costs involved.

GoogleWe sold our house with Winkworth in March 2020 and I have to say that I cannot fault them at all. They were honest and we have excellent communication throughout the process and al of our queries and issues were addressed very quickly by the professional, friendly and efficient staff. We chose to market with Winkworth after having sold a previous house with them in 2014 and having had a similarly positive experience. Thank you to everyone at Winkworth for helping us realise our dream!! :)

GoogleAppalling customer service. After making 4 Rightmove Enquiries to view a property, I had to call them in the end to book it in. Rude on the phone lacking basic knowledge when asked questions about the property. Asked for a confirmation email with property address and EPC, still waiting for one over 24 hours later even after sending another email to prompt them with a reply. Received a phone call this morning at 8.45am telling me the property will be too small for me... Not sure where they got that opinion from what with the property having 2 reception rooms, 2 bedrooms and a huge garden but basically told I can't view it.
Dear Sophie, Many thanks for your review and I am so sorry that you felt our service to be below par. We were trying to explain that the property is very old so doesn't qualify for an EPC ( which we understood was important to you ) and the bedrooms very small, especially bedroom two, the kitchen so compromised that the cooker is positioned in the sitting room! Its really very quirky but you are more than welcome to take a look if you think it would suit? We have shown families before and they have said its been a waste of their time so wanted to make you fully aware of the situation.

GoogleAbsolutely APPALLING service from Daniel Boxall. Winkworth seriously need to reconsider his position in the company. I Put my house up for sale with him and he completely ignored every message and voicemail from me. I had to go in to winkworth especially to talk to him and see what was happening with my house, he promised to phone me later that evening but once again he didn't. Distinct lack of professionalism from start to finish, never made me sign a contract so i have put my house on the market with a more professional agent.
